This is also about us sticking 2 fingers up to the Scottish Media, especially BBC Glasgow. And of course the ugly sisters, on this occasion Celtic............let's sell out this ****er and put it right up them!!!!

HHGH

:robboyas:

And a ****ing warm welcome to the great unwashed making the trip from the provinces to our glorious capital city. That alone is worth paying to see. This from a bunch of whingers who were happy to pish money away on a ticketless trip to Seville but who complain like feck about a 45 minute trip along the M8 cos its a "home game" for Hearts.

HHGH all right.

16.67% of ticket sales will go to VAT so will be around 83.33% of the estimate. Pretty decent when you add whatever profit we make from hospitality.

FTFY!

Hearts have played blunder here opening up our own hospitality suites

Sales will continue today.

Wins over Aberdeen and Dundee and get the feel good factor back up. If that were to happen we will be mighty close to a sell out IMO.

It’d be a lot more if our fantastic efforts weren’t being balanced out by the sheep struggling to shift half their allocation.

The rangers fans will buy what’s left. It’ll sell out.

Wait until the final they’ll be demanding Murrayfield for the extra capacity/tickets

Can’t help feeling yesterday’s news with the injuries will have some

people having second thoughts whether to go to Murrayfield still not

decided myself

A nice, steady progression to selling out over the next week.

Even if it ends up in the 27,28 k region that’ll be superb.

Taking account of hospitality and prize money around £600k.

Will Hearts keep the money from their own hospitality packages at Tynecastle or do they have to put that into the pot?

Hospitality hosted at Tynecastle will be our money. Just need to deduct the £30 cost of the match ticket which will be into the pot with all the other ticket money

I’m with Husky here, I mean what’s the point in even turning up to this game!! We should just refund all the ticket money and forfeit the tie!!

its going to be a massacre!!

Be funny if Aberdeen beat them. Would they demand a 50/50 split? ?

If we can win on Saturday and away at Dundee will should sell out!

Hopefully Aberdeen having such poor sales will inspire a few as it would be awesome if we sold all out tickets! ?

Think the front 8 rows of S18 still to be released.

Surely to feck they can just release all the last few areas in South and West and give folk more choice. The view from up in that corner is actually pretty good.

Cant help feeling that if that really is a factor for someone then they weren’t serious about going in the first place and this just provides an excuse...

Imagine not even being one of the 23000 biggest Hearts fans. Must be embarrassing knowing you are an even bigger part timer than the part timers.

two sell outs 67000+50000 = 117,000 tickets

If you assume 100,000 tickets sold

priced £10 to £30

assume average price of £25 per ticket

Around £2.5m in ticket receipts.

Stadium rental, stewards, police costs etc x 2, lets assume £600k all in.

So we should make around £400,000 to £500,000 from the game.

This is the reason cup runs mean so much regards money.

Our cup record last few years has been terrible and it’s hibs cup runs the last few years that has pulled them out the shit.

Abeerdeen have also also made a lot of money from cup runs last few years

There would be some interesting discussions if it was us v sheep in the final.

This place would go ballistic, and quite right, because it would be a 50/50 split.

Released now along with the back 14 rows of W1

Just bought two in the front row.

If you have the financial and physical ability to go to this game but don't, you aren't really a Hearts fan imo.

No way mate.  We have a SQUAD to support not just two players, no matter how important they are.  If you are able, get you and yours tickets and get along and scream yourself hoarse.

Someone who is getting married or has a relative on the cusp of death could have both the physical and financial ability to attend the match but it would not be reasonable to do so in the circumstances. I really don't think people should pass comment on other people's decisions in life. By all means cajole friends, family and work colleagues but to chastise perfect strangers seems a bit much, all in my personal opinion of course.

My default is that every team should be entitled to a 50/50 split whether its Hearts, Aberdeen or Arbroath.

They should be made to hand them back if no reasonable chance of selling them though

Bit of make-up and a wheelchair,  bob's your uncle! You and your loved one gets to go AND you help the club sell an extra ticket.  Win-Win.

Imagine the seethe coming off Hibs.Net if we started wheeling in dead relatives to boost ticket sales. Just make sure they have at least one poppy visible, preferably stolen.
