Scary eyes ended up in the Royal Edinburgh. We had a friend who worked in the Abbey on Morningside Road who used to serve him when he came in with his carer. He asked for all his withdrawals in fivers and did a hop, skip, jump as he was leaving the premises. Apparently, he also thought he looked like Rod Stewart!
