My first year at work coincided with the great Hearts team of 1957-58, and our lorry driver did nothing but moan the whole season. Kept on saying the '58 team was nothing like the one in the thirties, with Massie and Walker etc.

I swore then that when I got older(and boy, did I get older ) I would never repeat what he did by comparing current players to those far off days.

Wahay!!!

Someone older than me!

I’d love to meet some of the folk on kickback in person. See what they’re really like.

You're either very brave or bloody stupid !!??!! :huh2:

He'll have 12 months left on his Norwich deal after the loan.

Might be easier to work a pay off for a year. Likely something they’ll keep working on until the summer

It was the “handsome” part that made up your mind wasn’t it? :D

He must be the player with the (at some point in career) 2nd highest transfer fee, ever to play for Hearts - after Craig Gordon.

This season, we've signed players who have gone for a combined total of close to £20,000,000 over their careers. That's not to be sniffed at!

What a stat that is! Ooft! We have guys who have done well at a good level in every area of the pitch now. Great news for guys like Cochrane and MacDonald.

See the BBC header

Hearts persist with Naismith pursuit...

Typical less than positive spin from the Weegie BBC.  The "persist" terminology was almost a "yer wasting yer time!" dismissal.

GIRFUY!!!

Scored in the Merseyside Derby.

I like these odds.

Thinking this too. I’ll be putting a small wager on him.

This is the benefit of having a manager with such a good reputation....

:verysmug:

This in spades. The job he has done from Budgement Day to this has been nothing short of incredible imo.

If he plays in the derby and djoum starts plus mitchell we are stronger than we have been going into it than we have been in ages.

Lets make him feel the love like the duke does and convince him we're worth sticking around at for a season or 2.

Norwich are delighted to get shot of him, fair few see him as one of their worst ever signings. He's on a great contract be interesting to see how we've ended up getting him.
