Good week this week. Bought into IMGNAI and its up 400% today alone. Took out original stake so its all profit now.

Bought SDL (you can lock it for rewards. Ive put mine locked for 6 months for 20% of total coins held return) and FET. FET CEO announcing big news to come in March.

Increased gala bag too.

Both BTC and ETH charts look good so I think February might be a good month.

Crypto is so much fun..

So it's the crypto equivalent of penny stocks where the money is now? Except of course there's still no P/E ratio to show a relation to reality?

Bitcoin on what looks like a dead cat bounce to me, but who knows . . .

Its not quite penny stocks. Its new projects with good fundamentals. I work in a group to read white papers, understand the tech and quality of team behind it.

The money is made in crypto by finding a new trend early which pumps in the bull mstket. Our bet is AI and utility based NFT will do well.

I hsve 1 BTC because btc going up moves the rest so why not.

Some of the guys I do this with have been traders in New York.

Regarding dead cat bounce. I dont think so as it broke and closed above the bear market resistance bsnd. BtC works in a cycle. 64 weeks on average before its halving historically the bottom is in. That was 19th January. A number of markets (S&P) broke theirs too and btc rallied.

It will go down to test lows again, but if you know what to look for its the best game to get into to make extra income.

It’s still an equity with little use value at the end of the day though. The value is sustained effectively by inertia and hype.

Which can last somewhat indefinitely but the bloom is off the rose in terms of big new investors. Seems like just waiting for a series of shoes to drop.

Depends on the coin. Im looking for value and use case to get in early.

Im also not holding them forever, though there are some Ive had for years (ENJ) and the objective is to make money.

Which is working out well so far since bear market hit the bottom.

:)

I'm really not convinced.  This thread went August, then November for a few posts, and now.  I'm really happy for @Lastthing that you do if he made money, but where are all the rest of the posters?

I'm sure there will be a pile coming on to say they made their stake, but Im equally sure there is a pile lost their wad.  Hope they just gambled sweetie money.

Personally, i look forward to when all money is digital, and there is no black economy, I understand UK wants to be a leader in this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulip_mania comes to mind, though people mad fortunes if they got out in time.  Old me is reminded of neighboirs that won £50 quid at the bookies and thought they understood gambling, but didn't tell you about the tenner a week they had spent in the six months preceding.

I really hope it works, and I'm interested, but just don't see the grab if the currencies don't financially report.

fair play next time maybe look into Spain Homes ® offers properties in Spain with cryptocurrency payment. We accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for buying property in Spain.

I bought 250 of crypto through revolut app, was easy to do and was gonna take deposit out when it hit 500, was just about there and then it crashed. I checked before posting and it’s at 218. I’m happy to let it sit and hopefully go back up, I wouldn’t play with any big sums but what’s big to me could be a pittance to others.

Interesting

To be honest. Im ok doing this the way I have. Im throwing it all in a 2 year bond. Ill pay my debt to society through tax and the other side is two apartments to rent out via airbnb in the Riviera Maya...

At some point ill put 30k back into binance and the degenerate crypto games will begin again.

I called Bank of Scotland to check if I need to do anything...No Mr That thing you do, the bank hasnt flagged 120k nothing needed.

Braw. Just going to register for paye for cap gains and im away

Watt-Zeefuik

Silicon Valley Bank, the largest venture capital bank in California and intricately wired into the tech industry, just failed after a accelerating run on deposits this week and has been taken into FDIC receivership.

Many tech companies in SV had large amounts of their deposits in SVB, which could dramatically impact payroll and such this week.

Guess what sector is heavy into crypto and may be cashing out in large numbers this weekend . . .

PI is sitting around $42 to 1 PI.

Got over 3500. Just pending it being added to the mainnet. I'm sure it will go down a bit but its looking pretty decent.

One of those Crypto's you let it mine from your phone. Just clicking once a day.

I posted it here when i first started on it, that it was promising and posted invites but the post was removed 💁‍♂️

Well, the market is in a mess today. USDC depegged DAI depegged and rumour has it 50 crypto companies had assets in the now collapsed Silicon Valley Bank.

Regional Banks are collapsing all over the US at the moment and so niether crypto or the bank seems safe at the moment.

Im glad I got out last week. Id be 30% lower if it was this week.

Now just waiting, but will likely put a good chunk of what I got out into metals and other investments.

Im staying out of crypto for the moment until the chaos subsides. If bitcoin goes bak to 16k due to the turmoil im heading right back into crypto. For now though, good to have a mental pit stop from Crypto for a while.

Yeah I exited entirely a while back too and I'm glad I did. There's the additional news that NY Attorney General has declared they consider ether a security as well. So we could be seeing more and more crypto companies being dragged into courts like Ripple have been.

Federal figures also pointing out they need to focus on stable coins.

I think on the sidelines with some popcorn is the best place to be right now.

But can you explain why you said that 1PI = $42 when a Google search shows that 1PI = $0.011.  That's the bit that is confusing me and it's not just a wee discrepancy.

As I mentioned, it doesn't have a price. It's not $40 or $0.11 at the minute as it hasn't been listed.

I mine it free every day, takes less than five seconds but not expecting much from it when it eventually gets listed. I'm sitting on 1780pi at the minute.

Some wallets will display your coins with the total asset value besides it. I think there be a little bit of misreading going on.

Often that coin value will be dragged through from a site like CoinMarketCap too. So despite what Homme says about there being no price at the moment as it isn't listed, if there's some data on its price on a major platform, wallets will probably just apply that to the assets you have.

It was listed on some exchange in Jan for a decent amount per pi but the value came from absolutely nowhere and because you cannot buy and sell through a mainnet it has pretty much taken the form of IOU's at the minute.

The developers themselves have come out and said its a lot of nonsense.

So am I mistaken and it is genuinely showing at $42 per coin on a platform?

Aye think Homme has clarified possibly!

I just assumed there was no danger it could be showing 1 = 42 anywhere because that's wildly out of frame for shitcoins.

What do you mean it doesn't have a price as it hasn't been listed? Where do you think it has to be listed to have a value?

Your Picoin is currently valued at $0.007 according to coinmarketcap. You'll find slight variances depending on the pairing. I'd assume you can swap it on the likes of uniswap or pancake swap or something or other. It certainly has a price.
