heartgarfunkel
Where are all the usual Rangers supporters? Not on this thread? Maybe they were at the game? Awwwww. The older (stylishly dressed) ones will be on the mobile phones trying to instil some kind of party line into their twenty or so 'lads', that's if they're not in Robbos or taverns of that ilk nursing their wounds. kearney19
You wouldn't know it. I think I seen about 2 Scotland flags. Seen near enough the whole Rangers end full of the Union Jack. They represent The UK in my eyes, not Scotland. Absolute animals.

coppercrutch
This is gone far enough. I watched the game at a pub, unfortunately full of Rangers fans. Ive been in the same pub when Celtic lose and nothing happens, they accept it and move on... However.... A soon as the final whistle they all started chanting "were up out knees in fenian blood" threw glasses outside the pub and started fighting each other with chairs outside too. I got told a Russia was stabbed aswell at the stadium, my proposal... ban Rangers from Europe. Ive seen both sides of the old Firm and Ive never seen Celtic fans rioting after a game, why the **** should Rangers get away scot free after this. If they have been rioting with the police, stabbed a fan and their supporters invaded the pitch, surely they have to be banned. Also I heard a rendition of the above song i mentioned. Throw them out of Europe. Nothing will be mentioned tomorow I bet you any money. Rangers= **** of the earth. You are a Celtic fan aren't you ? Celtic fans are ****. Rangers fans are **** End of story. Tonight was the time for the wiedgie hun **** to disgrace themselves. Next year will be the time for the wiedgie Tim **** to disgrace themselves. They should all be rounded up and told to get into a bath or be gassed. I imagine most would decline the bath. ****.
Big Chap
From the same BBC story re the big screen failing at Piccadilly: "Some people are really angry they've spent a lot of money - maybe ?4,000 to ?5,000 - to come down here for this." Presume there's been a run on Gulfstream private jets from Prestwick then... GIRFUY

freddiemac
as in barcelona in 1972 i would suggest it may be a good idea to give manchester/ england a body swerve for a few years after these neaderthals have tarnished scotlands good name once again . unfortunately all good scots people will now be tarnished with what is going on in manchester tonight in front of a worldwide audience. Jocam2325
I have to admit during this run of theirs I actually found myself wanting them to win. In the semi I was genuinely pleased when Novo scored. Last couple of days I had decided I wanted them to win tonight. Then I watched the tea time national news. ITV. Cut to Manchester city centre and I felt proud to see the guy in his kilt with the skirl of the pipes. Then I listened as he played the sash as some stupid monkey clapped and sang. Better still few minutes later and there ws another bunch of the knuckle dragging low life. One leading on the flute as the rest of the colony clapped along to some Irish nonsense. That reminded me why I hate them. And the other equally manky lot across the city. GIRUY Huns.

Auld Reekin'
A dog set alight A 10 year old taken into the care of the social work department after being found carrying a large carry out on behalf of his intoxicated father. A stabbing A hail of bottles and cans thrown at police who had to baton charge them. Sporadic fighting amongst each other since lunchtime. Hardly worth bothering about really. Still its not even 11pm yet so there's time yet for them to visit a few homeless centres and childrens homes to hand out strips and souvenirs, perhaps even socialise with the opposition fans and locals, like the fans of normal Scottish clubs do when they travel en masse So Eric from Iain Banks' "The Wasp Factory" is a true-blue, billy-boy, eh...??? Well, that figures I suppose: the years spent in a psychiatric institution, the cruelty to animals, insanity running in the family, the shoplifting, fire-raising, and breaking into other people's houses... Why hadn't I realised this simple fact before? (Did somebody / thing down there really set fire to a dog???!!!)

Dr. Bapswent
What I cant get my head around is the psychology (or lack of it) of these idiots. Particularly those who are moaning about how much money they spent on it. So... 1. Rangers get to final. 2. Fan chooses to follow the club to the final, no matter the cost. (an honourable intention most fans would agree) 3. Fans spends 4-5k on going to game. 4. Rangers lose. 5. Fan complains about the cost...so...the options are... a) he is annoyed at Rangers for losing - (what a fool, imagine being so conceited that you think your team MUST win at all times)- particularly if youv spent a lot of cash on it! b)he is annoyed at how much he spent, and blames anyone but himself (but of course its only him that is to blame) and riots, causing damage to satisfy himself. mind you, they didnt have an SPL ref at that game. They are so used to winning every time, its maybe no surprise the fans are expecting more of the same.
Rabbie_Burns
Predicted this earlier today after being in the centre of Manchester this afternoon. Far too many, too drunk people compacted into the relatively small centre areas of the city, most of the pubs packed out and off-licences eventually completely sold out Witnessed fans turning on each other quite visciously in queues for booze, saw several guys bleeding heavily after some kind of incidents along with the usual p*shing and spewing in public places. Obviously these kind of things happens at most footie away trips but the scale and underlying tension today was something else
