Send 1st certificate in January, eventually got there in April, other documents I've sent have just disappeared. He was on the phone today needing our parents Birth Certificates and Marriage Certificate I did try sending some with Fed Ex, after a week they had still not picked them up from a shop in Edinburgh. Ended up sending them with Parcelforce, that was about six weeks ago, still haven't arrived.

In both cases, they were built for religious reasons, either as a tomb for a god or as as a symbol of worship. In Egypt, the HOW question cannot be answered with certainty because no records have ever been found, but the best guess is that massive ramps of sand were built and the stones were hauled up. It is also widely accepted that the thousands of people who worked on the project were not slaves, as depicted in "The Ten Commandments", but were pious volunteers. Yes I find anything to do with ancient Egypt fascinating . Watched numerous documentaries on it too . That’s true regarding those who worked on the pyramids . They were not slaves but valued , competent tradesman

Boof
Can't recall if this has been asked or not. Why does the length of the planks matter in relation to their thickness? Surely someone can be as thick as two planks regardless of their length?

FWJ
Where did the word ‘digs’ come from when meaning either a room rented in a larger house - or the money paid for it (especially money paid to your folks if you’re still at home and have started working). graygo
2 things bothering me that I can't be arsed looking up an answer too. How do the seagulls around Tynecastle and probably other places know that a match is about to end and the departing crowd will likely leave stuff to munch on? Has one of them got a watch? Why do flies circle underneath our ceiling lights even when they're off?

dougal
I have a galaxy s21 phone and have never bothered with paying for stuff using my phone. If I wanted to set this up is there a preferred app to use? Also can I put on store cards like tesco club card or nectar card or Costco on these apps too so I limit the amount of cards I need to carry?? Is there one app that does all this or do I need multiple apps for this?? I'd also like to know what happens if you're buying something over £100 or when the contactless doesn't work and you need to insert your card and put in your pin number especially if you don't have your card with you??
