Was he moaning? :)

Yep, opening gambit was a moan about the poor Aussie bowing, on the next ball Siddle bowls out Joe Root!

To be fair, it was one of only two decent balls in the whole session (the other was a jaffa by Starc, not the ball that got Cook out from Patto).

I would have put the Aussies into bat , they would have been nervous as not in great form .

But decision is made .

Not a disaster yet for England but could be .

185-6 is a pretty poor start for England, doubt this will go past 4 days tbh!

Siddle has ruined England today with 5 for 50!

185-6 and into the tail. Not looking too handy a score. Will be interesting to see what the English bowlers can do.

Has to be 3 consecutive deliveries for it to be a hat-trick in cricket.

That's the end of a dreadful start to the 5-0 whitewashers .

Bowlers to the rescue .

Terrible batting performance on an ordinary wicket . The Aussies didn't have to do much .

That ball from Anderson just gets better every time you look at it.

How many overs left today?

Finishing at 6:30

England only had 59 overs and Australia have had 8

Take off 2 for the change of innings

Used to think they had to play 90 overs in a day so it should be 21 overs. Lucky to get 16 more in

Rogers plays a shot on the leg side, skews off his bat, just out for reach of 3rd slip and runs away for 4.

Tough day for batsmen. 13 wickets have fallen today so far.

Aus 39-3

Fancy England to take at least 2 more wickets before the close. Looking dangerous every over.

Glad I took tomorrow and Friday off. It will be over by Saturday at this rate!
