Well you have to hand it to King, another Thellik minded person in the SFA has been resigned...erhmm , this one provided proof that Rangers cheated in 2011 to use UEFA money to fund their existance when in clear breach of the rules?  now will the next compliance officer carry that through or will they be a Sevcosychophant?   Our clubs would rather the whole mess be swept under the carpet, but here is hoping UEFA insist justice be done.

Why dont the SFA just go the whole hog and put King in charge of our game

The carpet us currently being lifted and the sweeping brush sent for.  If this goes the way I think it will then  the SFA's credibility is shot.

“Just when you thought it was safe to say "Craig Whyte is out of the picture." The long-running legal saga of Sevco 5088 is finally inching towards a courtroom. All the popcorn in the world might not be enough.”

... and yes, this is dated today.

The stars are all aligning that the major offensive by King and level 5 recently is all about discrediting any investigation that might stop them getting Europe next season.

Convinced now.

Europa League draw for teams including Rangers is a week away - June 19

He appears to believe the administrators and the governing bodies of Scottish football were co-conspirators in that because they allowed Sevco Scotland Limited to purchase those assets although the legal agreement was with Sevco 5088.......

It's got nowt to do with the governing bodies. D&P always said they had a preferred bidder but somehow the assets  were sold to another "soundalike" company - and yet nothing was done at the time. No assertions of fraud from anyone - so why is Shooter waiting 6 years to get his time in court ? This is all about Green and D&P (let's not forget the VERY close relationship Shooter has/had with D&P before the Rangers fiasco) Strange one.

Or maybe , just maybe the SFA is getting rid of anything that can attract any further bullshit from King/Sevco in advance of something rather spectacularly bad for Sevco happening. At least that's my pipe dream.

I'd love to think so - however - as far as Sevco us concerned the track record for the SFA has been to bend over backwards for them.

BREAKING: Rangers sign Croatian defender Nikola Katić. We're hearing unconfirmed reports that his surname is actually 'Katlić', but that's a bit too similar to 'Catholic', so the player was advised to change the spelling.

So rangers sign that katic boy. All the global reports saying undisclosed fee

The sun running with £2million though. Figure plucked out of thin air

Absolutely no chance rangers paid that to a relatively unknown Croatian club

Laughable but they'll all be lapping it

12 days late.

Gerrard isn't that daft. He gets paid weekly and wanted to see if his first wage went into his bank account. Pay day being only a day or two late is good going for rangers.

In govan it is a Thursday. Gives them a couple of days to work out how to count it and get ready for Saturday's game. Not bad though. Doesn't have to come in to work for the first nine days and gets paid for it.

How the feck are they able to spend roughly five million in the last few days?  No new investment and their spending all this money.  Weird that no questions are being asked. I'm forgot, in Scottish football this is normal.

Don't believe for one minute they found that kind of money unless they are going to do in season ticket money and go on the borrow again, plus it's more likely it is on the never never and when the grim reaper comes calling these teams will get stiffed the same as the face painter.

It looks like TGASL is gambling that they will get a run in Europa to make up the shortfall the season ticket money is being spent big time and all these additional players and Management team will be on Big Money so wage bill increases big time.

It’s win the league or bust for them, that much is clear. Cutting Celtics tickets, the extra money that comes from that, the cashing in on Gerard’s arrival and the splashing of the cash. They aren’t playing to finish 2nd next season, that’s pretty clear. What happens when that fails? Not a single rangers fan cares. No one is asking where the money is coming from. No one questions the emergency loans. No once questions king dancing close to the edge with the authorities again. 100% Card’s on the table, win the league. They’ll be paying 30k a week plus for Arfield and the Brighton lad, 100%. Alves and Penna still on the books on over 30K a week. Mental. If you are a fan of Scottish football and aren’t wanting Celtic to cake walk the league again next season I’d seriously consider giving the game up haha unless hearts win the league of course. Their reluctance to accept being one of us (diddy side) is gonna kill them.

What you are saying is bang on but Rangers don't care a jot

They done the same last season and will have more cash this season and will do the same next season hoping things improve and when pushed don't deny it

Do they not have to get through four rounds before qualifying for the group stages?  Its a pathetic business strategy.

I saw a Tweet re the Brighton lad transfer- valued at circa £900K , not the fairy tale figure being touted.

The other guy will be a free agent - they have no money for transfers.

I suspect the x million deals they have concluded also relate to players salaries over the length of their contracts.

They couldn't finance the Skrtel deal, they had to delay the Murphy signing because Brighton didn't trust them and all of a sudden they're spending 'big' money.  Above poster has probably got it spot on with the real valuation rather than Traynor's.

So far the signings look less 'exciting' than, say, either Pedro Casino's or Allinson's.

Risky indeed. It would be wonderful if they went bust AND were really rubbish.

I fear Phil Mac Gobbledook and his chums have cried wolf just a little too often, though.

The more money they get the better, strengthens them and and brings a team who will challenge and sorely needed they are.Of the top of my head I can name 7 teams who are propped up by Celtics players/finances and 2 who definitely are not.Only one reason for that, manipulation of the league yet they are getting away with it.
