I believe UBIG payed market price for the St Andrews Square and West Register Street properties.

I don't know what arrangements Ukio Bankas have for their property on Castle Street. Do they own the building or are they leasing it?

I heard they paid 5M more than the next highest bidder.

As for castle street. Didn't you hear? Vlads bank is opening there in April 07.

At least thats what Mr Romanovs Spokesperson told us, in late February/Early march 07.

:P

That was supposedly the St Andrews St property and it was ?4 million not ?5 million. I doubt the Castle Street property is even worth ?5 million let alone having someone bid ?5 million more than the next highest bid.

Were the figures quoted based on future costs?

That's a good point that didn't occur to me, but as an aside, wasn't the construction meant to start at the end of this season?

Maybe after the AGM we might know what additional borrowing is needed, but then again....

This forum discussion is interesting. From 2005, mind.

"Some guy from UBIG". :)

The picture halfway down page 1 is of the architect but I can't find any mention of the project on his website.

http://www.***sas.it/ - this link is not getting past the filter. For the three stars use an F, a U and a K.

Scrap that.

It is on the architect's website. Didn't realise it was called the 'Baltic Centre'.

Although it looks like they're inviting architect bids again, despite Mr F**sas thinking he was the winner in 2005.

I'm mighty confused.
