If it makes you feel any better, you're probably not the only person to have ever have a twelvefold gubbed... :whistling:

Onwards and upwards - make yourself some money by backing Raith to beat Hamilton @ 9/4 (Paddy Power, Skybet).

CANNOT FAIL. :ninja:

I'm thinking 6 or 7-0, I'd be tempted to put a couple quid on 4-0 too just in case they take the foot off the gas in the second half. It's about 13/2.

Had a decent start to the season, and for that reason, plus the valiant effort of teenwolf's long shot coupon, I'm going for a few teams on the wee English cup...I'd generally steer clear.

Peterborough v Cardiff

Southampton v Bolton

Stoke v Shrewsbury

Sunderland v Colchester

Blackburn v Norwich

It's all of the favourites, but still pays just under 16/1....definitely worth a quid or two

Destruction Derby

After my Tottenham/Hearts double had a wee cheeky 15/1 accumulator on for yesterday

Rangers

Celtic (-2)

NK Maribor

Sporting Lisbon

Man Utd

Nani the ###### knackered it for me with his penalty miss. Not impressed :(

I'm still angry at him.

Why didn't Giggs take it?

Did you see the penalty?

It was absolutely gash, perfect height to be saved. Also, why was no-one on the post for the second goal?

Destruction Derby

I never seen it at the time but I seen it on MOTD2 last night, absolute horrible penalty. Did they not have someone on the post but he moved just before the guy headed past Van Der Sar? Either way, pissed me of big time, thought it was going to be a good start to the gambling season, Still up for the season but could have been a nice wee pay out.

I hear you. ?3 on 4-0 @ 8/1 with Stan James. :ninja:

If Elgin score I'll be seething.

Need one more goal from either team at Parkhead to set me on the road to recovery from my truly appalling (and costly) Saturday bet, details of which I'm still too embarrassed to divulge.

:(

Do tell. :ninja:

Good price, I'm doing the same just stopping at 8 though (though I might just whack 50p on 9 just in case).

If Elgin score I'll be spewing.

I hear they've got some 6'9" boy up front - we better defend set pieces properly.

?10 on Tevez returns ?60.70

Edit::: leginten tell us your story mate

Not a lot to tell, really - just a classic tale of a mug punter. And maybe not that costly by most people's standards, but ?20 is more than I usually stake.

It's Saturday, it's 2.55pm and because I've been buggering around on JKB all day I haven't yet placed a bet. (Old school mentality - you can only get a bet on a football match on a Saturday afternoon!) So I panic and put ?20 on a team that was decent last season playing away against a team that was awful last season. Result? Whopping home victory for ... Montrose. Game over after 20 minutes.

It's why the bookies are rich and I'm not.

I've got Hearts to win by 4 goals or more @ 7/5 (bet365).

Also 4 correct scores; 7-0 (?3 @ 33/1), 8-0 (?2 @ 50/1), 9-0 (?1 @ 100/1), 10-0 (?1 @ 250/1). I'm not actually too confident that we'll hammer Elgin but if we do score a couple of goals early (first 15 minutes) we may not be far off 7 goals at full time, the most important thing is DON'T CONCEDE!!!

Last night I had Tevez and Gerrard (one up and the other hitting the post).

Sunday I had Carroll and Nani (one up and Nani missing a penalty!).

It was nearly impossible not to win monies tonight.

The fact this thread is a sticky means I keep missing it, never pay attention to the stickies.

I was on Spurs -1 & Spurs/ICT/Everton/Fulham.

EZ game.

I like this as well.

I was going to put a treble on Aberdeen, Hearts and Inverness any way so I'll invest a wee bit of last nights massive winnings in this. Cracking odds for 4 x home wins. With United playing out in Athens tonight, Hearts should be an absolute cert to win on Sunday.

going for another stupid accumulator at 90/1

Villarreal

Dortmund

Locomotiv Moscow

Levski Sofia

PSV

Liverpool

AEK

Juventus

Man City

Zagreb

Porto

Lille

Stuttgart

Birmingham

I think Liverpool will bugger it up, but the odds reduce dramatically without them. I already hate them so it'll just give me even more excuse to do so.

Say What Again

Tonight, I'm going with Man City (-2) and AEK Athens (-1) at 3.9 for the double.

As you said on the other thread Cosa, we've done the same bet tonight. I'm also waiting on Birmingham (-1) to get up an accum of Spurs, Everton, Fulham, Birmingham all (-1).

Cheers for the heads up about this thread, I'd seen it stickied but thought it was to do with the JKB betting syndicate so had just ignored it.

Last night I did a free ?25 bet on Killie, Fulham, Everton, ICT all (-1) Spurs (-2) and Newcastle.

Won a fair amount.

Great start to this season so far.

Withdrew a load and i'm going to be playing with winnings as well for a wee while.
