90th minute winner for Queen's Park rescues my weekend! Just need 9-man Dundee to hold on and I'll have the treble up...

edit: Apparently a 93rd minute penalty!

Early shouts for next weekend is Bolton at home to Fulham @ 13/10 (Paddy Power).

They pumped Werder Bremen 5-1 last night and are just about to sign Bellamy.

Tipped Queen's Park yesterday, as well as a winning treble! Have also made loads of PHWEE MURNEY backing Maribor in both ties against the Hobos.

I may be a shite gambler, but you ought to respect my (rare) winning runs. :yucky:

Better than me, but that's not saying much.

Opening day fixtures can be so awkward. Some teams bring in new faces and keep their best players, but it just doesn't click right away and you get shafted.

Tottenham at home to Man City, at 6/4 looks a decent bet, imo.

I want money and I want it tonight, punters. Who do I go for in Challenge Cup or English League Cup?

Yes, that does look tempting. It would, though, involve breaking one of my Golden Rules with my first bet of the new season proper, namely "Never bet against the home team".

My Golden Rules usually last at least a couple of weeks...

Why do people bet on early round diddy Cup games? You never know how seriously teams will take it - and they're so devoid of atmosphere they can be like glorified friendlies at times.

On the back of lots of free stuff from the bookies during the World Cup, I really pushed the boat out this evening.

That's ?5 I won't see again.

I started a thread yesterday tipping Portsmouth, changed my mind, bet Stevenage, bet LOST. Tonight tip Coventry, stick with Coventry, bet LOST.

Looking to tomorrow's losers, Serbia 5/6 at home to Greece, I know it's a friendly but Serbia have a good record in friendlies especially at home.

Another 2 that stand out - Germany away to Denmark, 7/5 and Holland away to Ukraine, 12/5.

I'm thinking 2x ?5 doubles with Ser/Ger and Ser/Hol, a ?3 double with Ger/Hol with a ?2 treble - returns ?107.50 for a ?15 stake, ?22 minimum if just 2 win, 50% profit.

Aye, I just saw Elliott at the garage in Sighthill, well about an hour ago. He bought a Daily Express. He's the same height as me, about 5'9". I expected him to be taller.

This might be the most pointless thread in the world ever, but aye, it's been a slow day for news.

Oh dear.

I'll sleep easy tonight knowing this

Did he have a posh car? :ermm:

He had a black Merc, I presume it was his and not the chubby teen mum that was standing beside it.

There's not enough boring Heat magazine-style player spotting threads on JKB... Actually no, this one is more than enough.

I almost bumped into Stefano Salvatori on Princes Street years ago.

I also saw Walter Smith leaving Ryan's Bar when he was Scotland manager.

Can we use this thread as a confession tool for folk who never thought this information was in any way important until now??

I saw Gary Glen about 3 hours ago at the round about next to the park and ride on the A71 near Riccarton, He was the passenger in a Citreon C2, looked like his dad or something was driving him to training.

Bit of a red neck getting dropped off at training at that age by a parent is it not? or just me :whistling:
