Well do I remember John Leslie trotting out at the San Giro one halftime in a goalies top for Denis Law to take penalties against him, all the time the Hearts support (for we were there) sang "Pea-nuts, pea-nuts, pea-nuts" (with a silent t, of course) at him.

 

And then when it was on Blue Peter, they changed the background noise into a range of cheers, huzzahs, and "well done that chap" type noises. Strange that.
