Scotlands Secret Bunker (Aka Troywood Nuclear Bunker)

In the middle of nowhere

Three miles north of Anstruther, a short private road turns south off the B940. It leads through a screen of trees that gives the location its name - Troy Wood - and between barbed wire fences to an innocuous looking building clad in stone and red tiles typical of the East Neuk of Fife.

Excellent work. 435 points go to Lemongrab

Thank feck for that. I spent absolute ages last night, looking for it on my phone at work. Found it in about 2 mins on my PC.

It looks familiar, maybe it's been posted before?

The question is, am I bored enough to trawl through 1224 pages?

Don't think so Boof, when I ways hanging around the snowplough driver had to drive to the top of the Lecht to pick up his snowplough. I drank with him

That must be newish, certain it wasn't there when I hung about Tomintoul in the early 90s

Erected in 1915. Was it the 1890s you hung around the town?

To be fair there was no pubs at that side of the square after the Richmond closed so going to the Glen Avon made me look in the opposite direction.....and I had a drink in me most, no all, of the time.

Geez that was quick.

Point to Tazio

The C&A was the big clue that it was Dutch. Then a quick google of miniature village Netherlands.
