Well done red.

Too much time spent on it though, MMW. :D  Google didn't come up trumps this time. It was only the Santa Cruz province flag in one of those last photos that gave it away.

That you did. :D It even took my mind off my broken tooth. If I never have to see a photo of an anchor again, though, I'll be a very happy bunny indeed.

Nice one red. Was just coming on to lose another hour looking at anchors :D

And cheers Lucky 🤪

:D And that particular anchor never did come up either (even with "puerto santa cruz" anchor sculpture). Neither did my long-shot "sculpture in the form of a painting of boats in a bay".

Puerto Santa Cruz - the city that Google simply forgot.

Nope

No water around there that I can see

I saw some.

Maybe only the size of a duck pond, but I definitely saw some

And Ushuaia is the last port of call for a lot of Antarctic-bound ships. Waaaay south...

Don't know how long I spent looking at first highland clearances and transportation, then on to things like explorers and conquistadors. I don't think I even saw a single pic of sodding Puerto Santa f'in Cruz.

Doesn’t beat the time half of us were probably on a CIA watch list for looking at military bases for days.

Good one though.

Well that's a bit vague. I'm feeling generous enough to award you one point though :D

Only due to its vagueness.

For a bonus 22 points, what specifically is the tree growing on?

Ah - I didn't look at the crest closely enough - was that the giveaway?

My memory is a bit foggy but I'm pretty sure that blue patch is a dead giveaway. Is this what my ancestors used to call the great outdoors before it became the forbidden land?

Nope.

I assume you are looking at those roof tiles and thinking, where in Scotland to you see a lot of them?

It's a very wise move to make, if so
