That will do for me. :) It is indeed the Sami church (folk may know the Sami more by another name for them - Lapps, as in Lappland), north of Alta, Finnmark, Norway.

Nice one. A very accurate description. :D

 

I was on a mammoth hitch-hiking journey from Denmark to the Russian border. The church was a very welcome distraction in a quite desolate (albeit beautiful) region.

Cheers. The village is just in Aberdeenshire on the border with Angus though. I think it used to be in the old county of Kincardineshire probably! :thumbsup:

 You are right although it has a DD postcode, but yes I know what your saying, I lived in auchenblae and as you say they fall into the Kincardineshire area.

I’ll let the scorer settle this one ?

I hope I was more precise with the beach at St Cyrus as the coast of Aberdeenshire is quite big but happy to see points shared if desired :smile:
