Pasquale for King

Feel that running down the play clock worked against the Eagles at the end, cost them a time out too.
They may well have been better running with the guy and pushing him out of bounds instead of trying to let him score in the last two minutes.
Great game though.

question, how does the 2 point conversion work?

Just a play from the two yard line where they have to break the plane of the end zone with a run or pass. Between 40-55% success rate apparently.

Ridiculous calls in conference final and ridiculous call in Superbowl and the NFL poster boy gets the win.

Don't get the love for Mahones. Good player but just a *** of a man. At least he wasn't pretending to be injured today but with officials marking him out as untouchable, he didn't have to.

James Bradberry has said himself it was a hold. The officials got it right.

I saw that, respect to him for coming out and admitting to it. Some still not accepting it though, still raging all over Twitter about it, even though he’s told them

Lamar Jackson? Well what are waiting on, Washington. Make the man an offer.

Seen a decent take on the Jackson situation from Will Brinson at CBS, so far 5 teams that have been actively looking for a QB have ruled themselves out of going for Jackson, seemingly because he's after a Deshaun Watson type deal with c$250m fully guaranteed and the league owners seem to be wanting to shut down that type of deal and make Watson's deal an anomaly rather than the norm as fully guaranteed deals mean that due to an old NFL rule, all of the money needs to be placed into escrow from day 1 leading to serious cash flow issues

I don’t think this is far from the truth.

But if any owner is going to go against the consensus then it’s Snyder

Bears deal the no1 pick to Panthers for DJ Moore and a bunch of picks. They obviously have a QB in mind.

QB’s could go with top 4 picks.

Hope so, gives the Lions the 2nd best player in the draft at #6.

Is it not rumoured to be Stroud?

I'd think it's likely to be him, but possibly could be Young, although his size would concern me if I was an NFL team. His height maybe not so much, but he's also very slight, whereas Stroud seems to be closer to ideal size to stand up to NFL hits.

I don't think Levis or Richardson are in line for the #1 pick, but you never know. Both of them have a lot to learn, and usually you'd want a proven commodity at #1 overall.

Jalen Ramsay being traded to the Dolphins for a 3rd round pick and reserve TE Hunter Long.

I was worried when it was rumored the Dolphins were interested in what they'd have to give up, but that's a steal.

Strange trade from the Rams point of view. Good move for Dolphins, certainly no real risk involved.

With the 48 hour "legal tampering" period starting this afternoon (5pm I think), we should start seeing news of free agency deals agreed today. The legal tampering period, which was put in because all teams did it illegally anyway and the NFL gave up trying to stop it, has almost become actual Free Agency. When it come to the actual start of FA, most of the deals are already known, and Wednesday is a bit of a damp squib.

We got rid of Carr for Garpollo, Josh McDaniels is just trolling me now.

Probably get injured pre season, as well.

Yep, that's...a lot...for Jimmy G

Steelers replacing Cam Sutton with Patrick Peterson (2years, $14m) for just over half the money Sutton got from the Lions (3yr deal, $33m, $22.5 guaranteed)

Still surprised we've not moved for an ILB as yet

What do Steelers fans make of Sutton?

He seems a great fit for what we're looking for at CB. Still think we go CB at 6 in the draft though.

I'm pleased with Miami's offseason moves so far, Ramsey was a steal for what we gave up and is a great, if expensive, replacement for the MIA Byron Jones last season. The Titans' David Long was also a good addition at ILB that we desperately needed, and the general opinion seems to be that he was expected to get more in FA (~$10m a year, and Miami got him for 2 years, $11m). That D is stacked now with Christian Wilkins, Chubb, Jaelen Phillips, Long, Xavien Howard, Ramsey & Jevon Holland.

Not so sure about Mike White as Tua's backup, but the initial 2 year, $16m figures have since been confirmed as really 2 years, $8m with a tonne of incentives and a team option for year 2, so not too expensive. I'd have preferred a more experience backup like Dalton or someone who could step in if (when) Tua misses time.

Need to find a TE and some RB's now....

He's good, really good but the issue is money, his last deal with the steelers was signed during our covid cap crisis.

He's super versatile and can play safety, in the slot or outside corner..............but the money he's picked up in Detroit is only for outside guys so playing him anywhere else is a waste. $11m a year gets him close to top 10 territory and he's not quite that, still very good but not yet good enough to have the steelers use him to play the man and not the side when up against elite recievers

Cheers for the info.

I do think he's going to end up our number 2 (a very very good 2 at that), which is why I think we're still going to look at a CB with the 6 pick.

Low key but I really like us re-signing Anzalone. He's come on great in his two years and is a massive culture setter too for us. Think we need to add in that area so I can see a mid-level FA being signed in the next wave.

Loving that addition of Montgomery.

I can only assume Williams was after more than we've paid for Montgomery, if that is the case then it's the right move. Better player for less money.

Happy with the Steelers business so far if i'm honest, Peterson should be a more than able replacement for Sutton, bringing in OL Nate Herbig and re-signing Kazee and Ogunjobi are all decent moves and should help focus other needs for the draft

Agreed. With the addition of Seumalo this is one of the Steelers best free agencies for a while.

Would have liked to keep Sutton but not for what the Lions have paid so good luck to him.

Expect the draft will likely see a CB taken first round (Most likely Joey Porter Jr) which would be a great pick up.

A CB in the first round is most likely but with Khan possibly wanting to make his own mark on things as GM there is a chance that the Steelers look to trade either up or down using the Claypool pick at 32, either to go up and grab an elite talent in 1st round or trade down and get more picks later in the draft
