Only up to double figures until Sat then they drop and the snow has to return!

Dry weekend with average temperatures then next week will be wet and windy with snow over higher ground. You should be OK unless you live up a mountain

Googling him won't give you the true image mate, he's so camp it's like a Scottish Julian Clary reading the weather

Thank god I had safe search on! :yucky:

If it's snowing in Gorebridge it must be snowing in Mayfield

My ineptitude led me to refer to the road I live on in Newington. So you are correct.

Although Dalkeith Road does resemble this right now.

The temperatures are back up to double figures by Thursday so it looks like the lazy buggers won't be getting snowed off anytime soon :smuggy:

Was hoping my exams would be postponed by the snow!

Maximum temp on BBC is 1 degree, no snow but certainly not double figures! unsure.gif

The BBC weather is unbelievably pish..

I usually find it quite accurate. STV is the worst on telly and Radio Forth is the worst full stop!

Yeah. It's right in the middle between West Calder & Lanark. We higher up that Lanark and West Calder so always seem to get it worse.

One of the coldest places I have ever worked was up your airt,Tarbrax.A place as pretty as it's name.whistling.gif

Same here. I actually am quite glad as I have a night out in town on Sat and heels and snow just don't mix!

last year the met office didn't get the actual weather report right until it happened.

Besides anytime it has been raining the last week or so it has been sleet mostly.

I won't lie, I had to Google Sean Batty

(Why couldn't you use Michael Fish or Wincey Willis, someone more of your age group) :whistling:

Roads were grittied for bawbag but not for the forecasted snow...

Is this the same country who vehemently stated that they would never get caught out again, and that they would be ready as ever this year

Jeez - I *did* warn you.

Be ready for the snow tomorrow as well as the storm moves through and the winds start coming from the North.

Also, early warning of a worse set up coming around 18th December....

Do you mean bad snow again on the 18th Dex? I'm supposed to be working 2.5 days between Xmas and New Year. It would be a shame if I couldn't get to work tongue.gif
