Best signature: The Liquidator. Funniest poster: Ken Barlow hands down. The man's an absolute joy to read and once he's started on you, the games as good as over. Least funny poster: Shaun.Lawson - not that he's "unfunny", I just can't be hooped reading 9 paragraph replies. Best thread: Glasgow's Got Talent - more for my own participation in the whole thing, with me, Rob and Neave heading through for the event itself. Another honorable mention to The Phil McHugh Disappreciation Society thread - that's jam packed with hilarious posts. Worst thread: The thread about getting JKB into the record books. I'd rather be remembered and noted in history for something memorable, like being the first man to teach a gold fish to rim him, not some utterly pointless, never ending thread on the internet. Most improved poster: It's got to be The Doug/Miller Jambo 60. I'm so happy to see he's stopped typing by throwing a mallet at the keyboard for 5 minutes and hoping that out of the madness, something resembling sense came of it. Person you'd most like to go for a pint with: Cigaro because he's got top taste in music and has always been a thoroughly nice chap on the board and Ken Barlow. The poster most likely to end up in Saughton award: If I8Hibsh isn't locked up in the beast wing by New Year for trying to give a donkey a hand job at Edinburgh zoo I'll be absolutely amazed. The Irvine Jambo Lifetime Achievement Award: Buffalo Bill. He's been here for an eternity but still has masses to contribute to the board. Fact based post imo. Best avatar: Chester's John Hughes one was a belter. Best signature: Picard's Forehead, hands down. I do like an angry, ranting one where you can feel the rage though - on that regard, JamboRobbo and MagicTs are right up there. Funniest poster: Audioslave, The Ruiner and Chad Sexington always raise a chuckle with me. Least funny poster: Nothing worse than a try hard, and JamboRobbo's particular brand of sarcasm/satire is as funny as getting landed next to a drunkard who's pished themselves on the bus. JammyT's attempts at humour often have them cracking open the suicide pills in the aisles as well. Best thread: Other than my disgracefully overlooked random picture thread, I liked the Ken Barlow stuff. Well done to all involved - in particular the guy who posted a picture of The Ruiner on the phone next to a dying Mike Baldwin, with a caption that read: "Mrs Baldwin? Yep, Mike's dying... shall we say about 7?" Worst thread: That thing a few folk have mentioned about getting KB into the Guinness Book of Records. Retarded. Least funny poster: He seems to have dipped off the radar but I think that 3inaBednar thought he was being funny which is what made his unfunniness so remarkable. Others aren't funny, but they're not trying to be. Best thread: Too many to select only one. Kearndawg instigated many (take a loan; cash my gold; cyprus here I come etc.) but one that he was heavily involved in was just after Michael Jackson announced his residency at the O2. The phrase, "innocent, Innocent, INNOCENT. FACT, FACT, FACT" will live long in my memory. Early in the year, MillerJambo60 (if ever a chap should be allowed to change his username, it's Doug!!) had a few crackers. There was one about some bloke who had 'borrowed' a couple of hundred old match programmes some 15 or 20 years previous and not returned them. And, to echo my 'best poster' nomination, there are many in the Shed that are (to me) educational on history or geopolitics etc. (e.g. discussing the Israeli action in Gaza). The Shed ain't a Bad Place to be. Worst thread: Most improved poster: Leading nomination catergory, imo. Doug's a great poster. Person you'd most like to go for a pint with: Bring me your huddled masses and we'll have a pint. Almost anyone who's buying - I'll even get you one back. If you put spurious h's in your words, though, and draw conclusions about people based upon their religion, I'd rather not. Just some examples: Doug, JohnM; ChesterPishPot; Barlow; Deek; LeginTen; Shaun; Nelly; Geoff - basically, anyone who's not going to bore me with tedious drivel about Larry being a wage thief, flags or the financial position of HMFC. The poster most likely to end up in Saughton award: Actually, I think it could be that young chap, LPJambo91. He seems to have a viscious turn of temper on him. One misplaced word in a bare somewhere in his vicinity and some poor guy could be glassed. The Irvine Jambo Lifetime Achievement Award: BobSharp.
