Mod Edit The premise is pretty simple: starting with a bank of, say, ?20, you back "one goal or more" in any football match's "Total Goals" market. As long as either team scores, you win! It doesn't matter if the match ends up 1-0, 1-2 or 10-2. As long as it isn't 0-0, you're in the money! The goal is to turn your initial bank of ?20 (or whatever) into something much larger, via lots of short odds wins! I've already started one; this is my progress so far: Bet 1: Bristol City v Crystal Palace - ?20 at 1.11 – WON ?2.20 Bet 2: Liverpool v Inter Milan - ?25* at 1.14 – WON ?3.50 Current total - ?27.70 (+?7.70) Let's go, guys! *It should have been ?22.20, I know; for some reason I decided to go with ?25. Had a hard time picking a match tonight; first legs are tough to call, but you can guarantee that the "big team" (Inter) would be happy to take a 0-0 draw home. The odds for 1GoM are usually double what you'd normally get, though (1.14 pretty much across the board, as opposed to the 1.06-7 you'd expect on average for any given league match). I was actually a bit gutted when Materazzi got sent off, as Inter started defending in even greater numbers! No worries in the end, though. Will post bet three soon. Bet on absolutely nonsense games on the telly just for a bit of interest even if I'm not confident in the bet I'm puting on! Going to give this a bash though and see how I get on. Looking on Betfair just now (not used for ages) and looking at the Man Utd game and can only see the options for over 1.5 goals? Is there always the option for just 1 goal +? If they done that with 1+ I'm sure I would make a healthy profit! I'm avoiding the Celtic game. I've lost quite a few quid on Barca this season, they have been very very poor and Celtic will defend like feck. Fancy the Man Utd game. Hmmm...not bad odds. Aberdeen will have to go for it as best they can which, in theory, should leave them exposed at the back. I'm joining betfair tonight and will start with ?20 to see how I get on. I almost went for it myself, actually. I think it looks pretty good. The reason I didn't go for it was I think Slavia will try and keep it tight and score on the break.
