Spellczech
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/8190130.stm or were these players not first team regulars and thus just a bit of posturing so that they look even-handed...
Seymour M Hersh
I'm slightly worried that McDonald's challenge was deemed acceptable.
Victorian
not even the SFA could have swept the lafferty incident under the carpet. the only thing being that they have begun to set a dangerous precedent. there could be quite a few cases in the future. Ben Dover
I'm slightly worried that McDonald's challenge was deemed acceptable. Yup, that is a nonsense. It's clear to blind man that McDonald had lost control of the ball and, like 90% of players would, made a desperate ( AND CLEARLY DANGEROUS ) lunge for it, clattering Wilkie with studs up in the process. A clearer case for retrospective action I doubt you'll ever see Stuart Dougal made a total shop front of himself during that incident, and later when balling out Craig Levein, and I can only imagine that the SFA just want to 'close the book' on what was a high profile BLUNDER by one of their best refs in recent years ...............SFA w*** w*** w***
Paolo
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/8190130.stm or were these players not first team regulars and thus just a bit of posturing so that they look even-handed... I wonder if Richard Gordon and Co will campaign to drive him out of Scotland like they tried with Miko.
N User
Token punishments for highly publicised things so that nobody can claim old firm bias when other clubs (Hearts!) are punished.
