Jam Tarts 1874
http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/sport-news/scottish-football/spl/glasgow-rangers-fc/2008/11/30/rangers-stopper-andy-webster-suffers-new-injury-nightmare-78057-20936304/ "RANGERS defender Andy Webster has suffered yet another injury setback. The former Scotland defender has strained his back and was forced to visit a London specialist in a bid to solve the problem. Webster is on loan at Bristol City but has started just one game for the Championship outfit since going to Ashton Gate in the summer. He's hoping to get himself fit again before returning to Ibrox in January but has now fallen behind the likes of Lee McCulloch in Walter Smith's defensive pecking order. The 26-year-old former Hearts star has endured an injury nightmare since arriving at Gers last year from Wigan. Webster damaged a knee in his first training session at Murray Park before suffering an ankle injury in a closed-doors game against Ayr United. Further knee surgery and a hernia op set him back last season but he'd returned to fitness for the start of the current campaign. Webster was sent to City in a bid to builbuild up his fitness but his latest injury has put paid to that." Couldn't happen to a nicer chap! Guest JamboRobbo
I can see both sides. It probably is Karma that Webster is injured and I don't feel sorry for him. But at the same time, I don't wish ill on him.

Midloth_Iain
A classic Scottish football success story, through the ranks from Division Two, up to the top end of the SPL and 22 caps before he'd turned 2 4, Premiership looming. But the day he walks out the Tynecastle door and hits the headlines for trying to tear up his contract under a FIFA loophole? Cursed. Two knee injuries, an ankle injury, a hernia and now it's his back. The curse of Rima/Romanov per chance ?

Dirty Deeds
Let's be fair, Rangers have been wonderful to the guy. Who else would take a player they know to be crocked on loan for year, then give him a long-term contract when the injury gets worse? Amazing. Stewart MacD
A young man makes a career mistake, based on bad advice. The poor sod has been blighted by injury since he left Hearts, after giving sterling service for years. Not too happy about the style of his departure, but I don't wish him ill. Hackney Hearts
Player gives years of loyal service and wants to move to a bigger club shocker. Happens all the time. Alan McLaren, Neil McCann, Colin Cameron, etc No hard feelings. Welcomed back at Tynecastle usually. So maybe there's something different about the Webster case? Perhaps? There are ways of doing things.
