Rawrrrrrrr
Where he, Neilson and Obua not about a fortnitght away from fitness 3 weeks ago? Yet again our club fail to treat a simple injury in a reasonable timescale Danny Thomson will have died of old age before they actually sort his knee out:(
Swimmer
Interesting to see that Alan Maybury is training with the club right now. I would snap him up in a second as our defence is sooo poor. Bring Maybs back, drop Kari and put Eggert in front of the defence...

Rawrrrrrrr
Danny Thomson is already on crutches with heavy strapping on his leg - he was watching the U19 game from the dugout with Visconte & Husband on saturday. He's on crutches because with that injury he will be unlikely to be able to walk yet, at least not without being in excruciating pain and being at risk of serious damage being done beyond what is already I maybe didnt make the best example, but far too often our players get mysterious injuries or just take far too long to recover from what are simple ailments

gashauskis9
The Hearts injury recovery time formula seems to have reaped it's rewards once again: Number of weeks out for Hearts player = Number of weeks for any player x 4 They told us 3 weeks ago that Driver would miss 1 game!!! Either the physio is gash, or the players don't give a monkeys.
jambo19
massive blow!! does anyone think wallace would be a better option than left back??? think that could work but dont know about a left back.
captain
Does my heid in all this injury chat. How can players be a week away then end up out for months? Just say they'll be out for months then anything quicker is a bonus. Driver hasn't been out this long since he had "not signed a contract disease" so it can't be that this time! CJGJ
Just one thing though -- we sent him to a specialist for treatment of which the option re injection was his decision -- not that of the medical service at Tynecastle. At tynecastle they treat what is discovered by medical experts they do not always diagnose the problem themselves -- as in Drivers case. Perhpas we need to check the quality of the specialists but the physios themselves and other back up at Riccarton are up to scratch.
Rawrrrrrrr
I don't agree It happens far too often where players are out forever with minor injuries Simply put I believe if Driver was a celtic or rangers, or even hibs player he would not be missing this game Our physios seem to err far too much on the side of caution, either that or there just not very good at what they do But tbh this could be said of pretty much any functional area within hearts, there is not one area I would say excels or even does above average Driver has some swelling around the achillies, its not a 6 week injury tbh, neilson was meant to be fit by now, obua is out with a strain I would understand if bones where broken etc but we seem incapable of giving people a bit of massage or an injection and getting them fit when they pick up a knock or strain and its costing us Driver has been the 1 bright spark of this season so far , well maybe kello too

Nelly Terraces
He was never going to miss just the 1 match with an achilles injury. Whoever said that at HMFC was talking bollax, as per usual. Bad news him being out for the derby. Wasn't confident of us winning before this news, even less so now. Thank ** I aint gonna be there.

Yeah, I'm no medical expert or anything close to it but having been a football fan for a long time I don't think I've ever heard of anyone coming back from an achilles injury in the space of a week...or even two, actually. Maybe the problem is how these things are being communicated to the fans rather than the actual medical/physio team themselves. They just need to learn to manage our expectations a little better. Diego10
If I remember rightly, it was Laszlo who said he 'hoped' he would be available for the next game after Falkirk, but that was at an early stage in the injury before it was properly diagnosed. Obua was going to be at least a month when he first got injured and it's been 3 weeks. Cesnauskis is just always injured.
