Douglas Alexander has to be one of the most pathetic losers to ever enter the political scene, what a **** He's a prime example of what is wrong with the so called labour party and his smug sister. 13,500 majority in Glasgows east end, they've lost it. Get yer tartan tory hat on as smug wee eck props up posh lad David "call me dave, youtube" Cameron. The union is in serious trouble, a sad day. cosanostra
Have to say i'm surprised at this. The East End is full of people who vote labour because they always have done and they think a vote for anyone else is a vote for the Tories. Maybe people are realising that this is not the same labour party of 20 years ago.

"oh aye, who was ah pyoor voting for byraway? oh aye, that burd Curran! och, haud on there's twa of them! Ach, ah'll jist pump it on this wan, that'll dae it!".................. This sort of thing isn't just restricted to the East End of Glasgow though. There's no question that being placed higher on a ballot paper is a major advantage - because a lot of voters really are that stuipid! When I was 16, I popped my hand up in politics class and said, "Sir - this democracy thing. The problem is, people are too stupid to know what's good for them!" And while I wish subsequent experience had diabused me of such arrogance, I still think it's true!
Harry Palmer
Is there a recount? Even if there is, the possibility of there needing to be a recount in order for a winner to be declared = CRAP.
