Brilliant effort so far, if anyone can spare a few quid there's still time to donate...

Sadly and predictably, come Monday, the headline (from the Glasgow media) will be more about the small number of empty seats/unsold tickets.

if der hun is gubbed tonight might not hear anything about empty seats as those glory hunting bigots walk away again from their disgusting club  and the weegie press clamp up

HHGH. How fitting we pull together like this for a match involving the mob that let their club die.

Half of the money donated to the raffle will go towards the semi final initiative. But that money isn't included in the running total that we currently have sight of, so the total raised so far is actually in excess of the £17k on the tracker.

Fantastic sum achieved.

Let's not forget the logistics of putting this together in a short space of time will take a huge amount of effort. I'm guessing the donations alone so far will pay for around 250 to 260 people all in.

That's a lot of folk to find, shift and feed.

Much respect to those who are organising this.

Lothian Buses have some spectacular vehicles that could be used BUT to hire them cost a spectacular amount.

Yes was just hoping they could enter into the spirit of things

I think the Lrt coaches are used by the club to take the Hospitality guests from Tynie through to Hampden. So might already be fully utilised

adult plus kid ticket 45 quid.  Transport/Food only an extra if necessary.  Think the 18k so far will cover more like 600/700 to go.

Can see them keeping it running till near the weekend. Noticed they'd now added this line on the website:

"Any excess funds will be used to help us deliver our charity's objectives aimed at changing lives through football".

Must be difficult to commit to spend all of it on Hampden given the short timescale.

Agreed though the latest comments form Big Hearts Chief Exec suggests that they will try to do that, "We stress that we’ll do our upmost to use every single £ to support taking families to Hampden."

Looks like transportation is by far the biggest issue at this late stage.

Just hoping that the transport logistics can be sorted out for this as that would probably be the biggest issue. Anyone on here actually FROM Big Hearts & able to give an update on the situation?

I've just donated to this too. And I've gave away mines and my dad's tickets to those less fortunate.

Again our fans stand out and miles above from the rest 🇱🇻

That's a really nice gesture, but you might have asked first son. Just so you know, you're now cut out of the will......😏

Now that would be a great positive local story for the media to cover. Capital team supporters raise funds for a worthwhile Edinburgh charity and local bus company delivers etc.

That should be getting national coverage in Scotland!

😄 I probably have been anyway.

We both decided on not going, (other life got in the way) then made the easy choice to donate the tickets.

Surprised the press have not picked up on this. The evening news at least. Or is it just bad news they like to print.
