Feel a bit sorry for the boy, absolutely nothing has come off for him.

TBF every time he receives the ball there is no Scotland player near him. He's so isolated, his only options are pass back to Henry, or try a cross...

Bit unlucky there Shanks, probably scores if he sclaffs it.

Hibs and Celtic fans will be blaming him for missing “another sitter”! 😏

Why take 4 goalies to these two games to only play the same one twice....baffling

And Clark can now say I gave Shanks 15 minutes, but he done nothing.

Clever clown of a man.

Exactly feckin pointless!

Why would you play Clark or Kelly who played in the last international break and who are both miles off international level? Why would you play Craig who isn't getting a game for Hearts when he has over 70 caps? Gunn is the No1 and we play in a major championships in 80 days time with only 2 games between now and then.

I can do without the Joel Taggart panic attacks on the radio commentary though.

Those erseholes probably will. His movement is tremendous. At least he gets himself in to these opportunities. If he would just give him more minutes, he’d be banging them in.

We'd have scored if Shanks had the entire second-half.

Clarke has said he wants to see Gordon playing - here was a chance! 🤷‍♂️

Brutal, absolutely zero ideas against a defensive 11.

I'd call it anti-football but it's up to us to beat it. Failed massively.

I don't think that meant giving him game time in these two friendlies more in action in training. Why he should he play him if Hearts won't? I have no doubt he'll be picked but he isn't starting unless Gunn is unavailable.

You can complain about other players not getting a chance etc. But that starting 11 should be performing much better

Patterson has put in possibly the worst performance I’ve ever seen in a Scotland shirt

Yup, utterly, utterly hopeless performance. How he stayed on the park for the full match is a complete mystery that only Clarke can answer.

Feel the same. Might not have been him to score it but the movement with him and Adams on the pitch was so much better. Shame the balls into them were almost all abysmal.

Dykes and Adams did nothing. Shanks had two half chances but didn’t score don’t know if that goes for him or against him.

One group I am amazed has not been criticised more is the SFA. This run of games has had us playing a lot of top teams in friendlies in this bad run, destroying the momentum we had before. In international football, while its important to play a top team every so often, you get equal or lesser teams to build up the feel good factor by winning. We should have run today but its now a bad loss after many sore losses.

The SFA wanted the glamour and missed the important thing which is Scotland doing well.

Grateful for what he’s done but another more forward thinking manager gets so much more out that squad.

Picking the right players for a start.

Cooper, McLean, Kelly, Ralston, Taylor nowhere near the squad.

The lack of fresh blood and reliance on loyalty is killing us.

Wee Patterson had a nightmare but the amount of time the switch was on for him and Scotland turned back and played it safe was embarrassing.

Manager should be roaring for the switch.

If the players don't have confidence in him bring on the back up RB.

If only the media would ask him some tough questions.

how did Patterson stay on the whole game?

what exactly Clarke believes Christie, dykes or Adams bring to the team?
why did you select 4 keepers but only play one? Especially after that one played poorly in the first game

Have to disagree. He is out of his depth defending, cannot attack and cannot cross a ball.

A struggling Everton have realised he is hopeless and he'll be packed off to championship at end of season, unless Everton are relegated.

As for our manager, he's been humiliated at home by a team of dross.

Seven games without a win. Seven! Thought he was gods gift to football and yet again he's shown he is incapable of adjusting team to defeat their tactics.

Apart from Tierney, nobody can get to byline and cross the ball.

Clarke was a bit ratty in his pre-match interview (when Shankland was mentioned). That result is hardly gonna improve his mood.

O'Neil's men were set up to defend and did their job well. Some good young players in his squad.

Maybe seen enough in training.

He did mention the level of opposition Craig had played since his injury.

Maybe been good in training so knows he will do a job as no.3 GK for tournament

Had another big hand in the goal tonight too. Patterson will be the fall guy but it was another dog shit clearance from

him that put us under pressure.

He had had to pick him when he would rather not have picked him.
