It really is and that’s not looking through rose tinted specs. Cheltenham is not what it was, should have left it how it was imo.

Malinga the Swinga
Introduction of extra races has done nothing to increase spectacle of Cheltenham and has diluted the quality of several fields as trainers try to avoid other horses and look for an easier race. This is Cheltenham, it's a meeting for top quality horses to take each other on and become a 'champion'. Go back to 3 days of quality and get rid of the filler races that pad out each day. Would be amazing. Imagine these short priced favourites going up against each other. The hype and the spectacle. Unfortunately money talks, they'll never go back to 3 days. luckyBatistuta
What a stunning performance that was from Ballyburn, strolled it. I didn’t have a bet on my account, as no point at those odds. I did however say to MrslB, “I’ll have Ballyburn here and you can have every other horse in the race”, easiest money I’ve ever made🤣

Other than Constitution Hill he seemed to suggest that their scopes were all coming back clear and that they were all working fine on the yard. He was baffled and at a total loss as to why they weren't performing to expectations when interviewed on Racing TV on Tuesday afternoon. Basically said that until the individual horses started racing then he wouldn't know which ones were right and which ones weren't.
