Yeah it's a bit shit and almost completely reliant on a few stables.  Mullins,  Elliot,  De Bromhead,  Henderson.

It really is and that’s not looking through rose tinted specs. Cheltenham is not what it was, should have left it how it was imo.

Henderson pulling his horses like teeth.

guy at my work is a syndicate called Act of the Union 1707 and their horse is called Notorious Pink finished 45l back in it's first race a bumper at Wincanton trained by Nicky Henderson he didn't say what it cost them to buy the horse but he's forking out money every month for training/feedstuff etc. He had booked flights/hotel for it's second run and Henderson pulled the horse the night before the race nightmare and my work pal is not a happy bunny

I don't think any of his horses have been ready for this Festival tbh. Pulling them due to conditions is a convenient excuse

I heard there’s some kind of illness in his yard. Jonbon a non-runner in the 3:30. He’s having a hard time of it just now.

I had backed Jonbon with one of my freebies from WH.

today might be a day for trebles. Can get better odds on the Mullins strong favourites by combining them.

Sky offering cash back for first race on friday for those that want to back it before now.

Only a couple jockeys been announced though.

Today will be terrible. Bookies lost too much yesterday.

Introduction of extra races has done nothing to increase spectacle of Cheltenham and has diluted the quality of several fields as trainers try to avoid other horses and look for an easier race.

This is Cheltenham, it's a meeting for top quality horses to take each other on and become a 'champion'.

Go back to 3 days of quality and get rid of the filler races that pad out each day.

Would be amazing. Imagine these short priced favourites going up against each other. The hype and the spectacle.

Unfortunately money talks, they'll never go back to 3 days.

What a stunning performance that was from Ballyburn, strolled it. I didn’t have a bet on my account, as no point at those odds. I did however say to MrslB, “I’ll have Ballyburn here and you can have every other horse in the race”, easiest money I’ve ever made🤣

Another easy win.

Next race should be more enjoyable and competitive.

How tinpot was the 1st?  Mullins had 5 of the 7 and they finished 1 to 5.

The obituaries will already be getting written for the festival, ready to be published over the next few days. Absolutely ruined.

After yesterday's close call, back to normality with a vengeance. 2 winners and a place was all I could muster. Tomorrow's jackpot £300k so well worth a free go.

Not just me, no jackpot winner today

Slightly better, two winners and two places. No cigar and nowhere near though. 9 still had a ticket in the final race and all were on El Faviolo. Ouch!

Dunno why Henderson just didn't pull all his horses if there was a virus in the camp. Sir Gino pulled today.

Other than Constitution Hill he seemed to suggest that their scopes were all coming back clear and that they were all working fine on the yard. He was baffled and at a total loss as to why they weren't performing to expectations when interviewed on Racing TV on Tuesday afternoon. Basically said that until the individual horses started racing then he wouldn't know which ones were right and which ones weren't.

He's had a mare (pun intended) this year. His runners have been well off it. Nico de Bonville was raging yesterday when interviewed post race.
