Confirms the plan is for him to fight for a first team place next season but even if he is not quite ready, Naismith sees him as a first team player in the long term. Also speaks about how highly Naismith rates him and feels he is very mature and intelligent. He does point out that Neilson's biggest weakness is on positional play but they will work on that as its the only part of his game that has not been at first level standard. Its nice to see a manager who is both very encouraging of a young player but can also talk about a players weakness in a way that sees it as something they can fix. I'd get a new contract on the table now. Expires next summer which seems way away at the moment but it'll be here before we know it.
OmiyaHearts
Don't think he'll be near the first team next season. Not just positional play but his mobility needs to improve as well.

We_are_the_Hearts
Watched him for Partick in 2 games and the same frailties were there IMO. Still not aggressive enough and positional awareness poor. Its a pity as he has the build and can play football but needs to improve these aspects of his game IMO
