And history is littered with smaller teams throwing it away when it comes to competing with the wealthier/bigger clubs.

Let's not hope this year. Have a soft spot for Dortmund, but would be nice to see Leverkusen take the title over Bayern. Kane must have pissed off some old demon.

Nice to see anyone take the title of Bayern and I don't dislike Bayern.

So, 10 clear with 10 games left.  7 wins from 10 will be enough; still unbeaten.

6 wins from 9 now after tonight's win.

Can't help but think of the irony of Harry Kane going to serial league winners Bayern, only for them to lose the league for the first time in 12 seasons.  Would be even more ironic if he ends up breaking the Bundesliga scoring record, his current trajectory of goals per game would equate to 41 for the season, which is Lewandowski's record.  Bayern's next game is against bottom of the league, so he could easily get another hat trick.

Aye, Poor Harry. Maybe Jamie Macdonald uttered some ancient curse under his breath before he missed that penalty against us in 2011

Boooo!

I'm a Schalke fan, but I'd enjoy seeing someone other than Dortmund beat Bayern to the title!

Tbh it’s ridiculous that a team could win 11 in a row.

Surely when it’s become expected to that extend it’s hardly celebrated?

There will be absolute scenes when Leverkusen wrap this up. Then after the partying, vultures will take their best players, manager etc and normal service will resume

Celtic won a quadruple treble, a few years later they're protesting against the board and are going on as if this is a dark period in the clubs history.

Eventually, winning means nothing.

It's ridiculous that only two teams could win nearly 40 in a row between them.

Sure Leverkusen will be raided but they'll get a huge payout, CL football next season, a lovely trophy, and memories they'll never forget.

Sign me up for that for Hearts right now, as soon as possible.

Hibs drew at Tynecastle and beat Ross County and it's the Famous Five all over again.

A win and a draw means loads to some...

If it’s an iPhone, just keep your finger pressed on the “o” and a range of options will come up. Not sure if Android does the same.

My phone's a piece of shit. If I keep my finger on O it comes up with all the alternatives but won't let me click on them. Anyway yeh I have a soft spot for them. Bit outside of Arsenal and Inter I don't really have much of an interest in teams throughout Europe. Are Schalke not going some financial turmoil right now.

You are right. Complete joke.

My dream would be to see us win the league. I doubt it’ll happen in my lifetime but we would celebrate it like nothing ever seen in this country.

Looking like Leverkusen will be losing their 100 percent record this season  as they trail in their Europa league match with Qarabag FC 4-2

At least they can focus all their attention on winning the league.

They've just pulled one back to 3-4 game on. Ex celtic player Frimpong with the goal

Also, I mistakenly said they had 100 percent record but meant to say they're undefeated

Could be a bug result in the battle for the extra 2 Champion's League places for next season too.

Italy have 4 teams left in Europe and currently lead the race: AC Milan, Atalanta, Fiorentina and Roma

England have 5 teams left in Europe: Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and Aston Villa

Germany have 3 teams left in Europe: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen

To use a quote from above but it is indeed a funny old game as ironically the success of Arsenal in the Champs League could actually hand Spurs a huge reward and significant financial windfall, similarly Liverpool winning the Europa League could bizarrely get Man Utd into next season's Champions League depending on their finishing position.

Absolute stick on. Knows he is going in the summer of 2025 and has been tapped up.

Shrewd move by Alonso staying at Bayer for an additional year. I think whatever happens he has guaranteed a top, top move next summer.

His team might be decimated this summer but if he can rebuild and maintain a CL spot then that would be a phenomenal achievement.
