Several players are really improving their games and confidence is surging through the squad. This! Team spirit is so important in football, and Naisy's done an amazing job at making everybody feel involved, giving the players the freedom to play and enjoy their football. People underestimate this when they look at individual players' skills in isolation, but playing together, working hard for each other, being positive and believing in each other's skills is so important. All roads lead to Gorgie
Enjoyed the performance today although cracking open Motherwell was no easy matter. We looked far more a threat in the second half and Vargas and Oda turned the tempo up when we needed it. Forrest's energy until the end was impressive. Hoff and Kingsley deserve praise and Shanks for the goal at a crucial point yet again.
ScandinavianJambo
What is so obvious is how Naismith has made this team so resilient. He gives all players enough game time to ensure they are able to perform when they come on ie he is not relying on the seasoned players, whilst also bringing on and developing fresh able youth talent....Tait anyone!? Levin and Nielson never managed this...it is so *** wonderful to see! Did I say i am getting excited 😂

The 12 point swing thread has to be the best, the OP's optimism was based on them not losing any more ground on us in the 3 games before we went into the Rangers, Hibs and Celtic matches. In reality, they've dropped a further 8 points behind us in those 3 games.
19/05/2012
Good win against a horrible team. They came for the draw and timewasted from the start. Glad we never booed the team off at half time. Game changed when we took Fraser and Lembikisa who were far too slow in possession.
tiger Rudi
Change of formation and personnel won it. Great job Hearts and Naismith. Thought Atkinson, Oda and Vargas were fantastic when they came on. Moving Hoff more central got more out of him too. Beni strolled it, but I'm really not too worried if he wants to leave, in Tait and Hoff we have cover. Obviously would like him to stay. Rowles justified his place, can't believe some folk wanted him left out. He had a great game, as did Kent and Kingsley. Dexter is NOT better than Atkinson. The loanee is good cover and anybody thinking he should get Atty's place needs there head examined. Is Fraser really an upgrade on Grant? Not for me. Again, why should a loanee push a signed player out the team unless he clearly makes a more positive contribution? Will we even be able to afford him in the summer? Very confident and professional performance today. Shankland is just unbelievable and Vargas is going to be some fekn player!! Great 2nd half Hearts. Lambert Simnel
Loved that second half. Kudos again to Naismith for his subs and tactical changes - suddenly there was space in midfield, and Tait had the time to make things move forward that Beni didn't seem to get in the first half. John Findlay
Comfortable win in the end. Even Steven first half. All Hearts from the 55th minute onwards.
Watt-Zeefuik
Said this on another thread, but Naisy set the team up to attack the flanks, Kettlewell set up his team to snuff everything out on the touchline. Naisy adjusted and refactored everything to go up the middle. Our setup first half wasn't bad, just that Kettlewell was ready for it. So we adapted and won 2-0. indianajones
Rowles, Kent and Kingsley are solid. Natty looked class and should be ahead of Dexter now. Calem is a really tidy player.
