We’re going through a wee bit earlier tonight for a couple before the game. I’m sure I saw in one of the threads a local bowling club near the ground that would be welcoming for us Jambos. Fecked if I can find the details anywhere on here, can someone set me straight.

we’re thinking of heading on to Paisley and then seeing what’s biting from there. Bus seems out as an option.

Had a look at the bus but doesn't seem possible getting back if no trains

Buses don't run between Paisley town centre and Greenock. If the trains are off it is possible that a Scotrail will run a rail replacement bus service from outside Paisley Gilmour Street Station as this is a busy route and there are a good number of people who work in Paisley and live in Greenock, and vice versa and travel by train. If you are in Glasgow there are buses that run from Buchanan Street bus station, via Glasgow Airport to Largs that pass the ground.

Good hunting to anyone going tonight ,coldest I’ve ever been at a game was Boxing Day 1987 in Greenock , 0-0 the only entertainment was the guys in fancy dress getting chased by a couple of coppers on an empty terracing at half time for doing a conga

Not humorous in the slightest. Two kids perished in that crash.

On my way to that game and stuck in traffic jam due to accident.  Became obvious we were never going to make it, turned back and went home.  Didn't believe in God then but His divine Providence obviously saved me one.
