It as 1-1 in first game

👍You're right.  Roald Jensen scored in about 10 minutes as well as his extra time penalty in the replay.  It was a long time ago!

Middle three sections of west stand will be hospitality and probably mostly sold.  As for the east stand where the ‘real’ fans go????

It's sit where you like in the main stand.   Behind the goals it's stand where you like.

Where is best for car parking?

There is a car park directly next to ground , think it's a fiver however can be nightmare to get out , also there is also plenty of free parking around the ground most home fans park in the neighborhood behind the main stand you could go covert and park on one of the streets and use ure sat nav to get out back onto the M8 after the game , aldo parking at the  waterfront just before you arrive at the ground take a right at traffic lights . Parking is never an issue really however arrive early and avoid delays on the M8  .

Yes behind the goal treat it as open terrace sit or stand but most stand ,the main stand seating is pretty cramped for space if your over 6 ft you may need to be helped out with a crowbar after 90 mins , however behind the goal when it's a big away support looks very nostalgic. Can you beat Motherwell on the pyro display?

What boozers to go to before game ?

Norseman bar right next to ground is let's just say handy for a pint or so , gets busy on big games 1hr prior to kick off , then its a bit mental at the bar on who get served next , there is 'The Point' about twenty minutes walk from the away end next to a McDonalds.

Best option and cheapest is to get into town basically next stop after cartsdyke, there is 'James Watt' two mins walk from 'Greenock Central Station' cheap basically a 'Witherspoon's" then get train back to game or walk the half hour and stop at 'The Point' on the way .

Heard someone say on a podcast the other week that it's cash only at all kiosks in the stadium,  and no cashline machines anywhere near ground.

I'm sure there are plenty you may get to between now and Monday in Edinburgh.

Anyone needing a ticket for Monday? Don't need anything for it.

Originally planned on staying overnight in the west as was taking some time out after my last project ended, however I've now started a new one and going to struggle to get there and home. Plus, currently choked full of the cold. 🤢

It's for behind the goals. Can email over a scan of the ticket (presume that will work?).

Obviously first come, first served.

Would love someone who knows about structural engineering and the like to come along and say whether the cost of moving the exiting roof supports and providing seats would be repaid by the extra tickets that would be available.

Might be better coming off M8 just after Eurocentral- going on M73 then M74- cuts round the south of Glasgow- avoids the centre and the Kingston Bridge.

It's as much the M8 after Kingston Bridge that sees the cr@p congestion.

I lost a full 60 minutes on the M8 between Edinburgh and Glasgow on an evening KO v Celtic last season and got to the ground with 15 mins to spare.

I imagine that going all the way to Greenock will likely involve even more time needing to be added to the 'normal' journey time.

Could be tight for anyone going by road who has to go to work today.
