fast_blood
We're all aware that we've had some shocking signings over the years. Are there any players in particular that you had high hopes for but have been a damp squib?? Personally, I thought Bobby Burns would have gone on to be a solid player for us. Nothing other than a get feeling at the time but he just never looked anywhere near our level.

tian447
Vanecek must be the uptime in recent times. Hyped up as the next coming of Jesus, paraglided in using his massive shorts, and was punted shortly after. An all round weird one.

Shooter McGavin
Oshaniwa, was quite excited about him but then quickly realised he was brutal 😄 Also, Joel Pereira, purely down to the fact that he came from Man Utd and was talked up by De Gea. Carl Fredrickson
Jeremey Goss. Tommy Harrison.
Pingu
Lowry has to be the most recent example. I also thought GMS would do quite well!
AlimOzturk
Genuinely thought Kuol was going to tear this league to shreds. Quickly learned that pace isn’t everything

In real life, looked like Arkadiuz Klimek with a hangover and ran like he had chronic hemorrhoids. 3 minutes ago, Shooter McGavin said: Oshaniwa, was quite excited about him but then as we all did, quickly realised he was brutal 😄 Also, Joel Pereira, purely down to the fact that he came from Man Utd and was talked up by De Gea. Personally think Neilson had no idea how to utilize him.

leginten
I had a feeling - based on nothing at all - that Lee Johnson would be a good player for us. To be fair, he wasn’t given much of a chance. Edited February 7 by leginten

Having watched Pereira's warm up prior to his debut at Motherwell, I had serious concerns. He seemed genuinely surprised/caught out by the pace the balls coming towards him during the normal warm up with the goalie coach. Even sent a message to my mates at the time about how poor he looked. Never a goalie in a million years. Got to be the worst I have ever seen in a Hearts top

Bunny Munro
Biggest one for me is Glenn Whelan. Should have been one of the best midfielders in the league, couldn't be arsed. I'll be in the minority that I think Vanecek could have been decent but CL hung him out to dry (probably in retaliation to him turning up overweight).
