I like the idea of the  gable end mural,  done professionally - unfortunately it would get egged by neds from the dark side.  WHy not go back to the big poster images we had on the inside of each stand end ?   3 on each end  (apart from the away fans end) ?

I do agree there should be multiple statues around tynecastle. Fitting tributes for legends.

In my opinion Tynecastle needs a few more small touches of teams or legends

doesn’t need to be a statue (however one would be great) but something like picture on the walls

theirs a lot of good touches for the fans but not enough for the legends

we should have Ann Budge statue ,she as done more in her time for this club  than every chairman in my 60 years following Hearts

Has to be someone from the 50s golden era imo, MacKay, Glidden, Bauld, Cumming or Walker. Or a terrible trio one. Must’ve been special to see that level of quality at Hearts..

Agree, we can dress the inside walls of each stand with images of legends.  I'd also look at replacing the "carpet" around the pitch edges to maroon with the badge and name.  We really should get the place looking better than what it is.

Jim Jefferies would be much more appropriate!

Not sure how you figure that one how regardless of how decent she has been.

There should be statues of the terrible trio and Walker for their league winning exploits and also JJ for the cup win in 98 imo.

Wallace Mercer with his hands on hips guffawing . Have it pointed towards the Roseburn stand

Then have this right at the front of the Plaza welcoming the Hearts supporters

This  And on the plinth - the quote.

“For as long as I can remember all I wanted in my life, nothing else, was to play for Hearts, which is my dream team. And to play for Scotland. I had no ambition for anything else; always Hearts.”

Arkadiusz Kilmek, sitting proudly upon his horse. What a glorious statue it would be.

Don't suppose anyone has that infamous photo?

I'd rather they were inside, reduces the risk of vandalism.

Why just one? Get several dotted all around Tynie. Zal holding up the cup 😢 would be my first vote.

I always liked a suggestion I read in the EEN once: a statue of Willie Bauld at the west end of Princes' Street and Gordon Smith at the east.

The perfect representation of all that is wonderful about Edinburgh football...two ex-Hearts players.

Player statues are contentious, we all have our favourites and they lose relevance as every year passes. I would like to see a generic fan statue, small group of supporters in the concourse marking Hearts becoming fan owned. Belonging to the people is what the club should be and in time this era will be looked upon as one of the most significant in the club's history.

If they put a statue of Zal in tynecastle and invited his family over I don’t think there would be a dry eye in the room.

Some players are just timeless. I still hear stories of Willie Bauld even now.

Yes, the Terrible Trip would be the obvious statue but it's not really that relevant now. I wonder how the Bauld family would feel about things considering how badly the club treated him, something we have form for in the past. I like the idea of timeless and forward thinking.
