I've often wondered - in the Main stand do you get blinded by the sun on good days, or battered with the west wind on bad days?  Guess it depends how far back you sit.

Any time I've been in the Main Stand, it's been accompanied with a hospitality visit, so I wouldn't have been in a state to tell you what the weather was or even what day of the week it was

I loved the old main stand. Sat in there many a time. However, times change, and the stadium looks beautiful now. Still have a soft spot for the Gorgie Road end though.

Main Stand is the nicest (as it should be) but I really like sitting behind the goals personally so Gorgie

Its steepness and closeness to the pitch mean the Wheatfield cannot be rivalled anywhere. The only view I ever had that came close was from high above the half-way line at Parkhead in May 98.

Lower D , Wheatfield, sometimes the rain can catch us but I love it as, I’m far enough back to have a reasonable view but close enough to abuse the officials.::troll::

Wheatield is best imo. Nae sun in your eyes but would prefer to be a few rows further back as I've got wet a few times.

The football experts in my opinion sit half way up the Wheatfield

Not true, I sit there and I'm one of those dafties who actually trust the managers judgement, him being far more experienced in this field than me.🤯

Bob from The Hague

Hi lads n lasses,

Not sure whether this is the right place but how is the stadium in terms of standing? I want to visit the match on the 30th of march with 2 mates (on a trip from the Netherlands) but there aren't any seats left next to each other. Does it make sense to just but three random seats in a section and stand at the front?

PS: based on the above that would probably be on of the sections on the long sides

Cheers,

Bob
