mitch41
I'm sick of pleading with the Hearts Board to get Steven Naismith signed on a long term contract with a substantial wage increase. This man has a talent that not many managers have and it is that obvious you can bet other clubs are watching what Hearts do to give him security and match the ambition Naisy obviously has. I think you are spot on. Let's get this sorted Hearts. Perhaps waiting until 3rd is tied up but hopefully in the pipeline.

We switched after the 4-1 loss to Celtic and nearly beat Rangers. By the time we went back to a back 4, Rowles had gotten his confidence back and was playing at a much higher level, Beni was nearly back to full strength, and the light had gone on for Hoff. Agreed, he was smart enough to abandon his plan which wasn't working, that's what sorted us out. It sounds so simple but if you're clever enough to just go back to basics and play to the players strengths when something isn't working then you'll probably do alright. Let the players build their confidence first then start to push them harder.

To have lost only 1 game (last minute defeat) outside the Old Firm since the end of September is incredible.

mitch41
The position Hearts are in at this moment is down to the management and many players of our first team squad who have put together a run of results that have achieved more than what our Board could have wished for. This has happened despite the financial retraints placed on wages and signings so let’s hope our board realise the possibilities that this Hearts team could achieve and back Steven Naismith with the funds that he needs to carry on the good work he wants to continue improving. Hear , hear, Splash the cash without going daft. Better players cost more but the rewards are there for the taking.
