What Aled Jones?

I mean he did go out "flying" with the snow man, so who knows...

What I've learned, ultimately, is that we need a new 9 O'clock News presenter?

Wonder who is available...

If he brought Holly with her that would be great they could do half a story each. The camera moving between them from one word to the next

The "victim" is now claiming that nothing untoward had taken place.

From his lawyer.

“For the avoidance of doubt, nothing inappropriate or unlawful has taken place between our client and the BBC personality and the allegations reported in the Sun newspaper are 'rubbish'.”

In response the Sun has reported

"We have reported a story about two very concerned parents who made a complaint to the BBC about the behaviour of a presenter and the welfare of their child. Their complaint was not acted upon by the BBC. We have seen evidence that supports their concerns. It’s now for the BBC to properly investigate."

Who knows what is happening here.

If someone has been doing what is alleged they should face the full force of the law.

Likewise if a parent has been talking nonsense to make a quick buck then they should also face the law.

The Scum paper now claiming they have seen the evidence ,I take they have seen it after they published the story as they showed no proof in the initial reports .

Sun jumped the gun with the story maybe .

Controlling & coercive behaviour : I see it through my job on a regular basis. People who do this often have mutliple victims and there's often more to it than a few nudies.

Nudies is just the start of things and it can get a lot worse.

My hats tipped to you mate.

My better half does similar work .

It's hard enough to leave work at work but the stuff you deal with .....tough shift.

Remember it is a serious charge. Sentence up to 10 years in prison for the alleged offence.

So the young person issued a denial to the sun before the story run ,so why did the sun not mention such a crucial part of the story in the initial print ?.

Why didn't the parents send the evidence they have to the bbc when they made complaints to them.

Has the bbc basically done as best as they could in this case .

The whole thing shows how important fact based journalism not the rabble rousing ,hate monging  excuse we get ..

A lot more to come here .

I doubt the Sun’s lawyers would allow them to do that. I would imagine it to be inconceivable that the Editorial & lawyers did not review, agree and even possibly run this past the Board before printing.

I'm willing to bet this BBC Presenters crimes pale in comparison to her old 6music show which was easily the worst show on the station.

It’s all a bit unsavoury on a number of fronts.

However, I suspect it’s probably something like this.

The young girl is an only fans model and sells porn on line. BBC bloke probably likes her stuff and has paid for it over a sustained period hence 35k. Nothing illegal.

Young girl potentially like to use her OF fortune to indulge in the insta lifestyle. Which probably includes champagne and Charlie.

Her parents disapprove/concerned about her lifestyle choices.

Mother latched on to that to one of her paying punters is famous and blames him for daughters lifestyle and hence their actions. Maybe it was well intentioned. However, I have to questions anyone intention going to the Sun to tell/sell their story.

The Sun being shut down of the back of this would be nice but that ain’t happening. Plus they’ve got what they wanted; sadly.

The boys career is done either way. Not rebounding from this, allegedly suffers from depression as well.

My understanding BJ is the sex of the “child” is not officially declared. The Sun & BBC have deliberately made no specific mention of it.

Possibly but not the first time the sun has done so in there history ,i dont get why the didnt print any of the evidence or say in the initial story the reporter had seen it .

Old Rupert has a mission to destroy the bbc ,he could have over ruled the lawyers  .

The truth will out .

Could well end up in court .

Could be.    Alternatively -   its the mother who's the crack-head and is using the child as bait in a weird ruse to get a payout from the BBC to fund her habit ?     She'd have to be on drugs to think that would ever succeed.

Meanwhile loads of BBC presenters are having their names dragged through the mud by SM ar5eholes.  If this latest development from the lawyer is factual, then its the BBC folk who are now the victims.

Yeah, kid's lawyer saying story is rubbish.

The Sun that published a 16 year old's tits and hacked a dead girl's mobile phone will surely be toast if this is proved to be BS.

Sir Keir Starmer maybe not so wise to jump into bed with Rupert Murdoch after all?

Newspapers (and I loosely include the Sun in that general description 😃 ) usually drip-feed more  info each day, rather than put everything out on the first day.     A juicy scandal produces more income for them if it's revealed over  several days

You've got admire the Sun's nerve though in their response to the child's lawyer development - especially the irony of the last sentence.   😏

"We have reported a story about two very concerned parents who made a complaint to the BBC about the behaviour of a presenter and the welfare of their child.

Maybe might put the BBC in a good light.

Bad news for Murdoch and The Sun.
