This is fantastic, really fantastic.

He's got it bang on. It's like listening to greatest hits album. No padding, just hit after hit being belted out. Regardless of age, everyone knows lyrics, everyone enjoying performance (apart from one miserable person) and even celebs at side giving it laldy.

I think this will go down as one of the best ever Glastonbury sets. I'm not even particularly a fan but he's absolutely smashing it out the park tonight. Honourable mention to his lead guitarist Davey Johnstone from Edinburgh and all the rest of his band.

This is so sharp from Queen's, the groove is there and Homme's playing/voice spot on.

Given your review, I'll catch up tomorrow with their show as it should be on I Player.

Nailed it - first time I've ever seen/heard him live (on telly) - outstanding. That's an 'entertainer' Robbie Williams and Harry Styles you mugging *****

I tried to watch both, Elton on the telly and QOTSA on the iPlayer but it's not possible to listen properly so I'll watch QOTSA tomorrow.

Indeed, Davey Johnstone, class act. Originally with a band called Magna Carta, Reg advised us at the Hydro

Big Hearts supporter if Wiki is to be believed. 🥸🤷‍♂️

Johnstone lives in Los Angeles with his wife. He has seven children. Davey is also a massive fan of Edinburgh based football club, Heart Of Midlothian. He goes by the nickname, Davey Jambo Johnston.

I had Elton down as more of a “bottom” if I’m completely honest.

Guys a living legend and true superstar of music.

Quite confident in saying there won't be another of his ilk for a long time.
