Yip, Cochranes absence doing that on the left doing that is why i think Atty may get nod. Didnt Hill play full 90 as CB against them last time?

Fairly straightforward selection today is it not ? Kingsley for Cochrane. No other changes I’d have thought

Will we do better than when Stendal took us there needing a win ? I hope so but not putting my shirt on it.

Natty was excellent against Ross County where we had to attack/win?

To be honest I thought he was poor against RC - lost possession countless times and missed an absolute sitter.

Anyway we need strong men today against Main, Gogic, etc.

We still carry plenty of goal threat.

No keep Hill in to do so, Rowles was bullied last time by Main. I just think SN will want to go on the attack from the start and with Kingsley on the left we will need a more up and down all day RB. Tough choice though..

I can’t go due to illness, so ticket is available for face value. It will need to be picked up from tynecastle. PM me.

If there is anyone kind enough to take this I’ll happily collect outside the ground!

Not a chance - we need Hill’s strength against the bunch of hammer throwers.

If we have to defend for most of the time, maybe. But we need to be attacking most of the game.

With Cochrane out we need at least one of our full back areas to be decent going forward. Kinglsey can barely remember how to play football at the moment let alone be attack minded:

Aye i can see Hills strength in air being large against set plays.

Dont know which way SN will call it.

We have bolt the door at the back, something we have failed to do this season at virtually every away game. Clean sheet and we win this.

We didn't have VAR at the time.   Their goal would've been disallowed and we might have had a penalty.

Ok but let’s not over fantasise Naismith’s games.

He has won one game and Atkinson started that one and was fully part of a very good team performance and result.

This for me, despite the bravado about poor football etc,  our defence has been the issue,  poor at set plays and cross balls,  centre half's easily bullied and far too few clean sheets.

Sort that and we'll win more games, scoring isn't an issue.

Clark

Hill Sibbick Rowles Halliday

Haring Devlin

Oda Shankland McKay

Ginnelly

That won’t be far away

Why would he play Halliday today? He put Kingsley on last week not Halliday. Hes as slow as a week in the jail and cant play a high tempo game.

Very unlikely Kingsley will play today. Nothing football related.

There could be space for a few on the bench today.

I think Naisy said that a couple of players had been ill during the week - iirc it was Smith and Kingsley?

DS98 possibly being melodramatic

Who is Wilson on the bench?

Clark - Hill, Sibbick, Rowles, Halliday - Haring, Devlin - Oda, Ginnelly, McKay - Shankland

The good thing about Halliday playing LB is that it stops the daft Atkinson at LB that Neilson brought him on for on a couple of occasions.

Kingsley doesnt do well as a wing back. Better in a back 3.

Kuol And Wilson in ahead of Humphrys. Interesting. Do we think Naismith hasn’t been happy with Humphrys output in training/sub appearances, or do we think he’s just a sick note again?

Naismith mentioned a couple of players have been sick. Beginning to think Humphrys will be gone at the end of the season.

Not done nearly enough to warrant getting a deal here. Thanks for the goal of the season and good luck

Personal. Certainly nothing that reflects badly on SK.

A few times this season I wondered why he was only at a club like Wigan based on his ability, and not only at Wigan but couldn’t get a game for them. He’s since went on to prove why. He’s got ability, but obviously not the brain to apply it properly.

James Wilson will make his debut from the bench today all going well. Has something to do with development fee increasing now he's signed a new improved contract. Protects us from a Lewis Neilson loss that dundee united made a mess of.
