I remember attending the first home match in 1974. It was January 5th and Hearts raised a flag to commemorate the centenary. The match was a 2-0 victory against Motherwell. Later that year we played Spurs at Tynecastle as part of the centenary celebrations. I wonder what happened to the flag, I'm sure it flew all of 1974. Was this not a discussion not that long ago alongside the big flag and a couple other things maybe the old welcome plinth from the Gorgie end that people wondered the location of or if theyd been lost.
