It very much depends on which strikers we bring in. If we bring in a couple of good ‘uns then a loan until January is a better option than warming the bench. Henderson is too old for the B team and at his age he needs regular games. A decision on a loan will be left until the last minute.

No it’s not really. We saw where we were left last season by loaning half decent players out. A raft of injuries left the match day squad threadbare.

Henderson, Smith and maybe even Pollock have done enough to stay and fight for a place in a proper place and arguably would have lended to a stronger finish

Hopefully Henderson does well but imo he'll be no better than a squad filler and then let go at the end of the season.

Livingston or Dunfermline will be his level and he can go from there.

If we want to cement 3rd place and close the gap on the OF then guys like Henderson won't do it. He's not a bad player but his quality is below the standard of a team with ambitions of European football, getting 3rd and being consistent in the cups with the aim of continuous improvement.

Simms and the Shankland types will help us.

This mirrors the Irving chat last season and we know what happened there.

He left and guys like Beni and Devlin came in. Far better.

He might surprise, but I'd bet on him being released at the end of the season.

Andy kirks lad will probably have a better shit with us.

Agreed.

oh ffs

Henderson will see out his career at Kelty Hearts, Cove Rangers etc.

He is so clearly not good enough for this level.

Maybe worth giving him a run of games

If we don't think European football is  worth it, then this would certainly be the route to go down.

We don’t exactly have many strikers who know how to score goals

maybe worth a shot

The decision to extend his contract and think he’d enhance the quality of the squad for this season is just another black mark against Neilson.

He has had lots of chances. Shankland is a good striker. We just have a ****ing abysmal management team.

He's had more loan deals than wonga. God dam awful and a complete mystery as to why he's still at the club. Add Ross Stewart in there too.
