Yes of course we had much better team in 1998. But that team played to its potential and above. On Saturday we did not despite all the hiberniesque excuses

 

 

 

What you're saying is that if we'd managed to get one shot on target we'd have been competitive?  I can't agree with your logic, you're saying that if Boyce's shot that led to Simms hitting the post had been on target we'd have been competitive but as it wasn't on target we weren't competitive.  

 

I agree we didn't play to our potential on Saturday, however, we were competitive up until Boyce went off.
