Cracking away win.

Made it difficult for ourselves for a while there but all good in the end. Gordon is going to be the difference for us this season.

Sounds like the travelling support enjoyed themselves also.

Another win. Another away win. Another goal by a striker.

Gino plays the Derby. I don't care who they drop....(Haring.)

Haring was ok today

Go 1-up.

Start pishing about with the formation in a pathetic attempt to hold on to a 1 goal lead.

Invite the other team on to you.

Lower your standard of play to match theirs.

So feckin clueless. Week after week, month after month, season after season.

Only thing clueless is your post. Comfortable win and three more points

Deserved win. Utd got into the game more as the second half wore on. But honestly if we didnt win that it would have been a travisty! We need to take more of our chances and well be fine!

If he scores a goal everytime coming off bench that'll do fine thanks very much

Would be delighted with that obviously but still lots of room for improvement. And goal apart has been poor so won't score from bench every time playing like that.

Hopefully does it against hibs in a fortnight though, FTH! HHGH

He was very decent today if you exclude the two absolute sitters he missed which might have cost us.

Celtic & Aberdeen at Home. Dundee Hibernian and St Midden away. 10 points. There has to be zero complaints with that

Indeed. Beyond what any of us could have imagined.

We are still frustrating at times in the final third and rather than kill games off end up two deep tinkering with formations.

However there were a lot of positives today.

Haring had a great game. Halliday is the one to drop. Or even Woodburn if his knock today is more serious.

Mr Brightside

Dominated first half without creating loads of chances. Overall good performance.

Gordon, Souttar and Baningime stood out.

Feel that Haring is edging back to his pre injury performance levels. Should have scored his header in the first half.

DUTV pundit saying there's not much in it ffs, generous to say the least

They were funny.

They did do more and had a good 10 minutes. But Hearts still in control.

Happy with the score but boy do we make things look difficult

I don't really think we do, that was a deserved win. Yeah they came back into it, but football does work in waves, we deserved 3 points

10 points from 12, 2 away wins, let's make it 13 from 15!

Bring on the hibees!

New guys hopefully settle in more, and another decent striker in at least before then.

He's not been playing or training because a family issue so for me I'm giving him a break and hoping he'll come good

FUNNIEST comment from United TV - if it wasnt for Gordon, Hearts would have had a drubbing!

YES, he did say that.

Well played Hearts. Was screaming at Gnando to up his pace - and then he scored. HA.

The team put in the effort and deserved to win. Thought United were poor - but maybe we made them look poor.

United tactics were rubbish.

I think we need to start singing Alex Cochrane's praises. He has been solid in his few appearances for us so far.

Never a total standout, very low key, flies under the radar a lot but has a few moments of brilliance and never really makes mistakes.

Reminds me of how we always used to say Michael Smith was a perpetual 7/10 player. I feel like we've got another one in Cochrane. Based on his first handful of games I hope we can keep him permanently.

Fantastic win but we made it hard for ourselves by sitting too deep. Where would we be without Big Craig?

A win is a win but why do we always have to go too defensive after we score? Some great passages of play let down with a poor decision or not enough players forward. We need to press our advantage and goal difference is all that's between us and the top. Onward and upward, we just need the bigot twins to draw tomorrow, as the longer they are down there the better.

I suspect this thread will be fairly quiet tonight, as we had an excellent away win today. Well done the Jambos !!

10 out of 12 from a fixture list of an OF game, two likely top six sides, and a bogey away fixture for us. Edinburgh derby for a top of the table showdown up next.

Not good enough, Robbie oot.

Let's all take a moment to laugh at Scotland thinking there are better centre halves than John Souttar who are Scottish!

Typical Neilson inspired away performance 1-1 or 0-0, with three shots on target, even with their decent goalie being an injury doubt.

Would you like to amend that prediction?

What a difference in this side. A team of absolute battlers, plenty skill on show as well but watching them give 100 percent is fantastic.
