Surely Considine won’t be fit after being stretchered off last night. Hedges didn’t travel midweek which is good news for us.

Their bums need cleaning before attempting intimacy or meeting the parents but apart from susceptibility to a touch of ringworm and mucky feet their mostly  hardy beast.

Straight from the Don's guide to pulling.

Robbie’s thoughts from yesterday’s press conference.

Speaks about the Woodburn transfer, the Parkhead disaster and responding against Aberdeen.

Quietly confident for Sunday after seeing a bit of Aberdeen last night. Really long trip for them.

As always reads appreciated, Michael Smith interview up tomorrow. 👍🏻

Normally look forward to a trip to Tynecastle. Not looking forward to this one.

Should be a much changed team with our injuries and Thursday in mind.

We'll be going there to sit in, hopefully keep the score down and try to hit on the counter. Problem is were limited with the 2nd choice squad to do that effectively.

Reckon you guys could win by 2 or 3

Probably, doubt we had two big wins in any week that season.

There was that week, and the week we beat Rangers in the cup then Hibs away in the league. But apart from that, utter 💩

What is the situation with Pollock? I expected him to go out on loan at a decent level, maybe Raith or Dunfermline, but as he's still with us then maybe they intend to give him serious game time.

Gordon

Souttar Halkett Kingsley

Smith Beni McEneff  Cochrane

Boyce

Gino Gnando

Haring,Walker, GMS, Pollock (if fit), Henderson, Halliday (if fit), gives good options on the bench.

Maybe waiting on signing some players before letting him go out on loan.

Did anyone hear Richard Gordon say on last nights Sportsound that St Johnstone are now bigger than Hearts, and no one on the panel questioned him

(check last nights Sportsounds podcast)

let’s ram it up Aberdeen on Sunday

Yup, and I did amend my line-up as I remembered that we're not allowed 12 players.

Pollock is only 17 and too young to play regular in the championship, we don’t want him to go to a Dunfermline and Raith and struggle to get game time, he then loses confidence and belief surely we have made this mistake too many times before

Keep him around the club for at least another year or two, he has to be ready to play mentally and physically men’s football

What does bigger mean in people’s eyes:

More fans on average over a season (over 10/20/30 years etc)

Bigger stadium

Most trophies won ever (or over X number of seasons)

Most European games played

Cant think of anywhere that mob could claim to be above us…….deluded (are they hibs in disguise)

Currently a better team - evidence suggests that they are.

However they are certainly not a bigger team than us.

Were you at Tynie for the recent match v ICT, or at the Gorgie Suite for the Celtic cup game, Mitch?

If you were, then great. If not, then maybe it's yourself that needs to get out more seeing as @Smith's right boot certainly was.

You talking to a legend Wee Mikes who follows Hearts at Home and as many away games that I can get to. Season Ticket Holder in the best seat in the stadium, Founding member of FOH, been in various Hearts Supporters Clubs over many years, shareholder and I’m never wrong regarding Hearts managers or players. Now just because SRB was somewhere watching Hearts doesn’t mean much but ok let’s give him and you as his advocate the benefit of the doubt and he gets out sometimes. With my vast experience you and SRB should never ever disagree with any of my posts because you need to remember I’m a legend in my own mind.

This.

I honestly don't think they have a better team than us, but that's just imo. Maybe stronger depth but first team vs first team? Not for me.

Put Pollock in behind Boyce then. The kids got goals in him.

If GMS doesn't make it and Gnando isn't going to play, would prefer to see Hendo in.

This would leave us with NO forwards on the bench.

We NEED another forward. Hopefully Woodburn will arrive next week but he is not an "out and out" forward.

A forward would now be my priority - but we will probably sign another CM!!

We suddenly look very threadbare with a couple of guys out

I would stick to 3-4-3 and play Henderson as well. If he goes 3-5-2 or similar I would play McEneff.

Just bought my PPV as I can’t get down on Sunday.

Very pleased as I thought the PPV option was a temporary set up due to fans not being allowed into stadiums…….is this PPV going to be a permanent….would be a great additional source of income for the club, anyone itk?

Anyone else still waiting for ticket to arrive via post?

I was told by ticket office on Saturday my Aberdeen ticket would be sent in post as I'm being moved to Roseburn as ST is in the red zone for Don's subs.

Huge game this one. Aberdeen are 7000 miles away in Azerbaijan on Thursday night. Surely that will work in our favour, although I believe we have enough in the tank to beat them anyway. 2-0 Hearts!

Azerbaijan is actually around 2.5k miles away, but let's hope it feels like 7k and that the sheep are still shagged-out come Sunday.  :icon14:

That looks good to me. McEneff is hungry, he's probably going to score again.

That the same guy that’s played Cochrane, Pollock, Henderson, McEneff this season.  Same guy that’s signed Beni and Devlin and trying to get Woodbury on loan. Same guy  that’s had Darge, Smith and Denholm on the bench this season. Check out their ages.

If halliday and gms aren't making it

                     Gordon

      Souttar   Halkett   Kingsley

Smith                                   Cochrane

                 Beni     Haring

Ginnelly                        Walker/Hendo

                      Boyce

This will be what I think the team would be.

However I'd like to see:

                     Gordon

      Souttar   Halkett   Kingsley

Smith    Beni        Haring   Cochrane

           Ginnelly       McEneff

                      Boyce

I'd like to see Ginnelly making those runs beyond Boyce with McEneff making the bursts into the box.

Compact enough back 7 to allow for both wingback giving support/balls in and solid enough defensive base/battle in midfield to be fought.
