Clearly it takes time for the relevant body - NOT HEARTS!!! - to assess the situation and risks etc.

I've never once blamed Hearts.

Any updates from whoever goes would be appreciated as assuming there won't be official match updates from the club.

My guess is that we just couldn't get authorisation at short notice. The approval we got around lunchtime today was what we would have needed for the Berwick game to go ahead also.

Is that a guess?? Do we read into this that after a year frozen out Robbie is suddenly going to throw Damour a lifeline? If not and it is because we have no-one else cant imagine Damour being too fussed to partake.

Appearing in friendlies may not count towards appearance money

Interesting to see how Damour gets on.

I'm not expecting much but being an optimistic sort of bloke you never know.

Should be strolling games like this to be fair, considering the levels he has played.

If he is interested in his career, whether at Hearts or not he should be looking to cruise this and make a big impression.

Doubt it.

4-3-3 would be my guess.

                       Stone

       Smith Darge Haring Watson

          Pollock Damour Halliday

               GMS Boyce Smith

Could be two different 11s for each half.

Linlithgow's sub keeper!?! He must be 45 at least by now!!( some centre forward for anyone who remembers!👏)

From the Linlithgow Facebook page.

Gates open at 2pm for Rose v Hearts. We apologise for the late announcement of today’s game. The delay was Hearts awaiting approval from The Elite Sport Clinical Advisory. Board

The comms department at Hearts is an embarrassment, lazy and make no effort whatsoever, this is genuinely a shambles.

Have a day off.

"genuinely a shambles".

Either way I am glad Damour is included. Really not beneficial at all not to be involved. Back in sight we might just have the opportunity to get him going somewhere

You can work out at least two first teamers who are missing coz of covid plus Kingsley and Gordon prob not considered, need about 4 in for sure.

Kingsley is still a bit away from being ready according to Robbie. He said he was hoping to have him back for the cup games.

Lord Beni of Gorgie

This is how pre season should begin, with a rout.

Doesn't matter who you play just feel good about yourself
