Not voting sturgeon. Voting for Scottish independence

This is not an independence referendum though, it's voting for a government to run the country and the SNP have been making a terrible job of it.

You are playing right into 'Nicola's' hands

I don't think there's many SNP voters who actually care about their performance in government.

Well that's certainly the narrative from their opposition, it's not very convincing though as results will show

And the alternative is? You truly believe one of the current crop of parties could do better?

Lib Dem’s. A party that has proved they would sell their granny down road to get into government.

Greens - You won’t have any roads or cars left if they got into power.

Tories -

Labour - A party that failed this country and have rightly paid the price.

Correct. Unionist parties couldn't care less about Scotland or its people.

That's a pretty poor excuse.

You've been cursing Sturgeon in the Coronavirus thread.

If you hate her that much, now is a chance to send her a message.

I've got no loyalty to any of the other parties and I use my vote tactically

Just drove onto Calder road from the Hermiston Gait junction to be greeted by a huge luminous sign.

'14 years of failure. Get them out'

'Vote tactical'

:glorious:

I wonder who paid for that as there was no political party name attached

The sign certainly catches the eye as you drive into Edinburgh, so it's doing its job in that sense

Disagree. Greens don’t give a shit about independence. They really don’t. A super majority of Alba and SNP almost guarantees a second Indy ref 2. The greens only care about taking your car off you.

Putting SNP as your second vote is utterly wasteful and only serves the unionist parties. If you really can’t stomach Salmond then put the greens. I just think they aren’t truly bothered either way about Scottish independence and it is a policy purely as a vote grab.

Absolute rubbish. And what's wrong with taking your car off you? The planet is ****ed and cars are playing a huge part of that whether that's in production or use.

SNP 1&2 seems wasteful.

SNP 1, Greens 2 is the solid choice.

Alba if you're a nutter.

Tory if you're a ****.

Anyone else if you don't have a clue about Scottish politics.

Not fan of Galloway, but imagine what he would do in Parliament to this simpleton who appears to be suggesting Scottish Sterling is worth more than than Bank of England Sterling.

Priceless who needs currency eh. Goes back to my earlier point that the SNP supporters would vote for anyone that stood in the name of that party. Absolute simpletons voting for simpletons.

Constitution isn't devolved to Scottish parliament so you arent really. Sturgeon only pretends she can throw a referendum to round up her wee sheep.

Here's one of the SNP's brightest talents suggesting a hard border between Scotland and England will benefit job creation.

I feel for all the staff employed on the hard border in the irish sea. Must be soaking

Nothing wrong with tactical voting rather than wasting your vote on your usual party.

I would vote Labour, Lib Dem or Tory if it would make a difference.

I've no loyalty to any of them

Is this to see who becomes a very distant second?

Fair enough. I find it more cringeworthy than funny, tbf. There's little joy in a ritual humiliation.

It's been amazing seeing Sturgeon offer Scots incredible election give aways and freebies paid for via Westminster covid funding before then saying the union offers nothing to Scotland. All she is doing it building up what Scots have to risk 😃😃🇬🇧🇬🇧

He's his own worst enemy, skips round answers like his boss down South.

127.000 new electors in Scotland since 2019, I guess the vast majority will be young and pro Indy.

It depends if they've got a mind of their own and despite being pro Indy, realise that the SNP are a total joke

Just cast my vote. Lib Dems and Conservatives 2nd in Edinburgh western.

It probably won't make a difference to the overall result in Scotland as the Turkeys will still vote for Christmas IMO
