I had my old dears doors and walls wrecked making him jump over my annuals and crashing into stuff  Had the one that had the sparks coming out the back as well, loved that toy man.

Got an absolute bollocking from my dad when I was maybe about 8 for attempting to iron my Subbuteo pitch and instead managing to burn the thing and melt the carpet underneath. Oops.

Flight Deck Cover Artwork

I begged my Mum for this. You had to land a plane on a bit of plastic with a band stretched across it. Fired it up some fishing line and it turned/came in for landing. It looked great on the telly but was bored after 5 minutes

You must be about the same age as me as I’ve the same sad tale. It was shite.

Loads of games on here that I’d forgotten about but instantly remembered when I saw the photos. I remember getting Battling Tops one Christmas. That was a brilliant game.

A few years ago my flat mate and I had a monopoly night with a couple of mates for a laugh. Brandy and cigars, business suits the whole lot for a daft laugh. Within a couple of hours the whole thing was threatening to boil over into violence and had already worked it’s way up to shouting and insults.
We didn’t repeat the experiment.

Never had a game where there's not been a bit of tension !

The pinks and oranges were good to get. If you got a hotel on that whole stretch you were laughing !😄

When I worked in scottish widows in the eighties, we had a Diplomacy night, in a bar in Broughton street.  Lots of strange glances when grown men would slope of to the gents for privacy to discuss moves.  Hibby ex mate didnt speak to me for years afterwards because apparently i 'cheated' in submitting the wrong moves after my real ones just so he could see, on the same turn he wanted to shaft me

Had this and took it to school at end of term, was popular with my mates that day as none of them had seen it.

I can’t remember what it was called though. I eventually took it apart myself with a screwdriver to see how it worked and it was all string underneath, never worked the same afterwards.

OH i had that. Brings back memories. ..:)

Also been playing that this week with my son, he’s pretty good at it. I remember using the base as an imaginary space-ship more than actually playing the game itself.
