The Sun is reporting that McInnes has left Aberdeen.

Saying that he has had a strained relationship with the chief executive Cormack in recent months due to behind the scenes decisions.

Will be interesting to see which direction they will go.

Thought they'd been fighting over the sun bed.

Strachan, maybe?

Probably for the best from their point of view. Things seem to have went stale and a fresh set of eyes may benefit them.

Good stuff. That'll be Aberdeen going back to finishing in the bottom 6.

🤣 I don't know if I'd wish that, even on Aberdeen.

Funnily enough was discussing this with a friend last week, it would not surprise me if he ended up there.

Hopefully downwards.

Oh, that's not what you meant.

So overrated.

They probably should have done it before now.

They'll regret that. Downward spiral now for them and bottom 6 next season.

Our duty then is to finish above Hibs.

a bit harsh but the sheep never liked the hun. Lennon would be an excellent choice. Could finish his fight with Kamberi.

Goodwin maybe more likely. Would he take it though.

Yeah he fits the bill their! No money best assets sold every season money is on Robinson or if they want to throw the cash about they never do Calum Davidson from St Johnstone .

Jim  Goodwin aside there is a real dearth of up and coming managers in Scottish football.

Was always going to end this way after the Rangers saga.  He was always going to feel his loyalty deserves rewarding and Dons probably felt the same. It all went a bit meh, but still would snap your hand off for a 4th spot 3pts off 3rd in the Prem right now.

Return of Rangers knocked them down the pecking order again, next appointment will be interesting, rumour is its someone with league experience whos out of work..

Must regret not taking the Sevco job now. Wasn't to know Milne was selling up of course.

Wouldn't be surprised to see someone arrive Stateside. Cormack contacts and direction of travel is promoting the link with Atlanta

My first thoughts.

Aberdeen crash this season, Hibs arse will fall out them next season.

We need to step up.

Probably trying to orchestrate a move to Tynie.......

Derek just having a break before taking over the West Brom Job in the summer once they are relegated

I see Aberdeen have 9 players out of contract in the summer, when you add in players on loan to Aberdeen, then it leaves a first team squad of 12 (if no one gets a new contract.) So if you are a new manager it gives you time to build the team their way. But I would love to know who was doing recruitment for Aberdeen over the last few years as they had so many more misses than hits.

Could be an interesting summer in the Premiership, Celtic need a new manager and will have a major rebuild of squad, same with Aberdeen. We will need to rebuild the squad in the summer. Unfortunately probably helps Hibs that they have a settled squad.

Hahaha. A fortune spent and one league cup to show for it. I'm sure they'll be talking about those 2nd places for decades though right enough.

Now wait for the Clarke to Celtic, McInnes to Scotland, Ross to Aberdeen, Goodwin to Hibs, Robinson to St Mirren merrygoround to start up.
