For me he seemed to be a manager that constantly needed a war chest to spend when results got bad. Didn't ever see him to do much when players got injured or squad was depleted. CL always seemed to get one over him in the big games. I think we are about to see the meltdown of an American owned Scottish football club. Regular top four finishes and good cup runs were not the norm at Pittodrie before McInnes turned up. Having said that, Aberdeen have scored a total of one goal in their last nine games. That is atrocious! If Hearts did that, I would probably want rid of Robbie Neilson. So I can kinda understand where the Aberdeen fans frustration is coming from. It'll be interesting to see who they bring in next. Neil Lennon, Jim Goodwin and Stephen Glass all seem like credible options. As for Enzo Mascara, eye've never heard of him.
