It is games like this where telling passes are needed to open them up. In this formation, the onus should be on Irving and Walker. Neither looks like doing that.

And movement from them and Halliday.

Need a midfielder to break the lines.

Often Boyce is isolated and walker is only one getting forward.

Knocked the ball about nice at times but really once we get in the box, very little.

I'd get McEneff on. For take your pick between - Kasteneer, GMS, Irving or Halliday.

Walker and Boyce have done ok, keep them on.

Mceneff half time sub please

Mceneff should walk into this midfield. Nobody else can drive forward with the ball. Must come on now.

Halliday and Irving doesn't work, too slow ,sideways and backward passing,

the midfield should be carrying the ball forward and linking with the striker s

McEneff would help bridge the gap

No way was that a penalty. I’m yet to see anything from GMS to suggest he’s any better than Roberts or Frear. He hasn’t  contributed anything yet since he joined the club. That goal is entirely on him too with him losing the ball pathetically like he has done all night. Should be subbed at half time.

Exactly, too slow, looses the ball too often,5 corners on the bounce, and basically all crap, = rank rotten.

Turned over for PBS America. Vietnam. Less harrowing

It's a similar story.

Nothing nonsense about it. There's contact, it's a pen. Doesn't matter if the boys playing for it, the ref can't see that. He gets across Kingsley, makes Kingsley foul him. Clever play. If that happens at the other end, we're calling for that all day long.

Kingsley didnt foul him the guy sticks his left leg out about two feet into Kingsley's leg never a penalty would i have been shouting for it yes but it was never a penalty

Another question. Can anyone name me a single player on our books that they'd be genuinely gutted to lose? Seriously, can they name one? I can't.

Surely this will force his hand to ditch one of the 2 sitters.

We need more players who’s inclination is to go forward. We’re boring as ....

Well said.  If that was Olly Lee in midfield he would be getting absolute dogs abuse but because it’s Irving he gets a free pass.  He was dreadful in that first half.  Halliday wasn’t much better.

This.

Utterly woeful "contribution" from our CMs.

An obsession with control from Robbie yet again. QoS are absolute pish and yet are managing to stifle Hearts quite easily.

Forgot that Halliday was even in the starting line-up. Completely anonymous.

Wee good game last week, then back to his usual lazy arsed self.

Waste of a jersey. Should just do his media stuff, licking the gers backsides.

Remember the last time we were in this division?

We were blowing shite like this away.

Correct because we actually tried to press and harrie opponents, but now it's tippy tappy possession crap, lways stood off our opponents. Embarrassing some games

That goal is the best thing that could happen for us. We HAVE to get our ****ing finger out now. It’s been absolutely pish. Halliday and Irving think they are playing walking football.

Utter guff. The boy sticks his leg out to trip himself and Kingsley up.

If Hearts cant turn this round Neilson needs to clear his desk, QOS are absolutely horrendous.

Not sure about the first part of your post but Inverness cruised to a 3-0 win down there

We dont have anyone who will take the responsibility to change the game. Been missing for years. We would be better signing Stevo at HT.

With you on that one. Stevo was class.

I cannot understand the halftime pundits views with regard to the pen. How can they say that the attaching player clearly is running parallel to the defender then sticks out his leg to openly buy the penalty....and on that basis it is a clear cut penalty??? Surely it is a booking for the attacker by the letter of the law. If not then it needs to be clarified and you can expect to see a lot of penalties going forward...

But the QotS play instigated the contact?

And if you say he's playing for it then in my eyes that is contradictory to the argument for giving a pen.

It oddly is often the case! If the game is crap then if we concede we come to life and often score many. I can't remember against which team it was but we went 1 nil down and scored 3/4 in quick succession. Think it was last year.

Totally agree. It is effectively cheating.

Exactly. In this league we can afford 2 up front.

Never a penalty, but we should be good enough to negate stinking refereeing decisions out of the equation at this level.

We’ll wing this league at a canter but with each passing week I’m more convinced Neilson is not the man for us.

That’s the problem - we are playing at a canter! Too slow too ponderous!

Rubbish.  The contact was clearly initiated by the forward.  Disagree that Kingsley fouled the player, he did nothing wrong,  simply was running alongside making no attempt to make a challenge.
